This vehicle has a severe safety defect in its Instrument Panel Cluster that is the subject of NHTSA Safety Recall 25V-826. Despite multiple repair attempts, including a complete hardware replacement of the entire Instrument Panel Cluster, the defect remains unresolved. To date, the vehicle has been out of service for a cumulative 86 days for this issue. On June 24, 2026, after the full component replacement, the instrument panel cluster suffered a complete blackout while I was operating the vehicle at highway speeds. This resulted in a total loss of the speedometer and all safety information. A subsequent power-cycle restart failed to initialize the system. This is a documented, ongoing highway safety hazard. Video evidence of this failure is on file with the Texas DMV (active Lemon Law Case No. 26-0011927) and has been provided directly to the manufacturer's legal counsel. The manufacturer has failed to resolve this safety defect. Videos available upon request.

The factory-installed tow mirrors on this vehicle present a severe safety hazard due to a major engineering and ergonomic design flaw. The physical size and placement of the side mirrors are excessively large, creating massive blind spots at the front pillars of the windshield. This completely obstructs the driver's forward-diagonal visibility, creating a "blind wall" effect that fully hides oncoming mid-size sedans, motorcycles, and pedestrians when approaching urban intersections, roundabouts, and crosswalks. This layout is entirely unsuitable for normal daily use and causes extreme driver distress due to near-miss situations. Additionally, the advanced safety electronics housed within these mirrors malfunction constantly. The Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) warning lights freeze or lock up on the glass, or the dashboard displays a permanent "Blind Spot System Unavailable" error message shortly after starting the vehicle or deploying the power-folding mirrors. The 360-degree perimeter camera feed also experiences intermittent signal loss. The hardware components are available for inspection upon request. The electrical faults have been confirmed by an authorized dealer but a permanent design fix for the forward visibility hazard is required from the manufacturer.

I purchased the Vehicle in April 2025 with 500 miles as NEW. Within 3k miles, I had the AEB and “BLIND Spot warning unavailable “ both service required messages come on the vehicle. The Hazards stay on the side mirrors while driving, which make it dangerous also believing you have vehicles in your blind spot creating a safe hazard and also beeps at times. This continued to happen constantly. I was told at first presentation that there was an internal TBS(bulletin) with FCA and there was no fix. Then at 4k miles, it happened again. I took it back, they did a software update. It continued to happen. 6k miles, more software updates. A wiring harness was replaced. It is still happening for both. At 10k miles. After software updates, wiring harness update. It continues to happen.

My infotainment screen makes a loud buzzing noise at least 3days per week, and then it shuts down and reboots itself, this happened several times while backing out of parking spots and I lost my rear view camera, also sometimes while driving on the Highway both of my blind spot monitor lights on my mirrors will come on and my truck will display BMS malfunction and this stops my adaptive Cruise and hands free Cruise while driving on Highway at 65mph or higher. I've taken in to the dealership and they say they can't reproduce the problem with the buzzing coming from The infotainment system, and the Blindspot Monitoring System will self correct after my vehicle sits overnight, but my RAM documents the BMS and sends me an alert to take into dealership for service, but once again the dealerships say they can't replicate the issue with the bms.

There was a recall for the cluster pack on the screen that shows my speedometer and safety features such a lane departure, turn signals, etc. I had the recall completed and my screen still blacks out randomly. It has been in the shop 3 times to fix the screen, but Ram cannot get it fixed. I have multiple pictures and videos of the screen blacking out if anyone is interested I can email them.

For the sixth time, the vehicle has stopped in mid traffic. A couple of close incidents of almost getting hit in two lane traffic, at stop lights surrounded by traffic, on interstate. The incident today came after a supposed, "final fix" for the blind spot warning. It is not a warning, the vehicle completely hard brakes to a complete stop and shut down of all systems. We have to quickly respond, turn the button on quickly and hope it starts. I am now terrified to drive the vehicle. The original dealer told me to take to local dealer, they acted like I was crazy trying to describe these incidents, initially, but then 2 weeks ago, they had a service recall that stated exactly what I had experienced. It does not work. I am terrified to drive it and invested over 90,000 in a quality, American built truck to be dismissed, then believed and survived. I can't keep it, please help.

While driving my 2025 Ram RHO on the freeway I experienced a sudden steering malfunction resulting in loss of normal steering assist and abnormal steering response. The steering became stiff and difficult to turn and maintain control. This occurred without warning. The failure creates a serious safety risk. Particularly at highway speeds, as it requires excessive force to steer and could result in loss of vehicle contol, collission, rollover. the vehicle has been at the dealership now for 40+ days awaiting repair. the dealer diagnosed the issue as a steering system failure but required parts are on national back order with NO estimated delivery date The vehicle is currently undrivable and unsafe to operate. The defect presents a clear safety hazard because: sudden steering failure loss of steering assist failure has occurred at thighway speeds driver may be unable to safely maneuver vehicle or avoid obstacle

Blind Spot Alert has no volume setting. It is either on or off. It is extremely loud to the point it will startle the driver and occupants. While in motion in left turn lane it will detect vehicles in opposing lanes and sound. When making turns, it will detect my trailer and sound. It will detect utility poles and sound. The over detecting wouldn't be such a problem, but it is probably four times volume needed for the alert. Front collision, rear collision both have volume settings and "Low" has plenty of volume. Most people complaining on the forums simply turn off the audio alert due to no volume setting and rely only on the light. The volume is so loud it defeats the purpose of the audio alert when the only option is to turn it off. Please require RAM to fix this problem.

Date: November 12, 2025 Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 Dealer: Frank Boucher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Janesville – 4001 Milton Ave, Janesville, WI 53546 I have been experiencing ongoing electrical and instrument cluster failures with my 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 since purchase. The most serious issue is a recurring message: “Warning Light Illumination Cannot Be Shown – Service Required.” This means the cluster cannot guarantee display of safety alerts such as the check engine, airbag, brake, or oil pressure lights. This is a major safety hazard because I may not be warned of a system failure while driving. The truck also shows false “Trailer Light Out” warnings when no trailer is connected, indicating a fault in the Body Control Module (BCM) or CAN bus communication. This may cause incorrect trailer or brake-light behavior, putting other drivers at risk if brake or turn-signal lighting fails to operate properly. It also displays a false “Too Much Oil” warning despite normal levels, and the 3.0 engine has no dipstick, preventing manual verification. The truck has also failed to start multiple times with both the remote fob and manual ignition. On November 12, 2025, it would not start at all; after several attempts, it started with the check engine light briefly on, then it turned off on its own. I have brought the vehicle to the dealer twice. Technicians confirmed Dodge/Stellantis is aware of the defect but said no repair or software update currently exists. The issue has been reproduced and documented. Based on symptoms and dealer feedback, this is likely a BCM or instrument cluster communication fault within the vehicle’s CAN network, affecting ignition, lighting, and safety indicator functions. It directly violates FMVSS 101 (controls and displays) and poses a serious road-safety risk. I request a full NHTSA investigation and recall for this defect, as it affects multiple Ram 1500 models and leaves drivers unaware of critical system failures.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact stated that immediately after purchasing the vehicle, the contact experienced issues with the brakes. The contact stated that while driving at 80 MPH, several messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The ABS warning light and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The brake pedal was depressed but traveled down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond immediately. The vehicle eventually came to a rolling stop. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while reversing out of the driveway, several messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The contact stated that the brakes failed while at the dealer while an employee was test driving the vehicle. However, no cause for the failure was found. The dealer replaced the auxiliary battery, and the park assist module was reprogrammed. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the blind spot sensor had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,504.

The digital instrument cluster failed. All telemetry is shown on this cluster including speed, fuel level, rpm, odometer and more. The cluster was going totally black every two minutes and it would disable cruise, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and the check engine light was on. There was no indication prior that there was a problem, it just all of a sudden went black and beeped. Then it would come back after 5 seconds and do it again two minutes later. Also my odometer wasn't working or updating the miles. The dealer confirmed the cluster needed to be replaced. It sat at the dealer for 96 days before the repair was made.

My 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn, ~6,000 miles) experienced a steering-assist failure and then a ruptured coolant hose that sprayed coolant over electronics. Dealer (Hendrick Hoover) refused warranty service and instructed me to leave their property. Ram Customer Care told me to drive the unsafe truck home while my child was onboard. The vehicle is now inoperable and unsafe. I have photos and video of the leak and the dealer refusing service. I request an urgent safety investigation and that NHTSA notify Stellantis that my vehicle presents a clear safety risk.

Upon starting my vehicle, numerous warning lamps/messages appeared to include: - "Service Electronic Stability Control" - "4WD System Temporarily Unavailable" - "Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) Off" - "Blind Spot Alert Unavailable Service Required" (the blind spot indicator lights on the side mirrors were also illuminated) In addition to the above warnings, I no longer had electronic power steering, making the vehicle nearly impossible to turn. Thankfully I was parked when all of this occurred. Had I been driving, the loss of power steering alone could have been catastrophic. I shut down the vehicle hoping that the issues would resolve upon restart. Unfortunately they did not. It took multiple more shutdowns/restarts and approximately 20 minutes before the problems disappeared and the vehicle seemed to be functioning properly. I immediately drove the vehicle to the dealership for service. As of this writing, they have not been able to replicate the problem nor find a cause.

Vehicle has been taken to the dealership for AEB and blind spot monitoring. The vehicle has spent 15 days in the shop, only for nothing to have changed. Vehicle was driven by dealership an excessive 171 miles, only to be returned to us and within 10 minutes of driving, the AEB warning reappears. This vehicle has driven less than 5000mi. It should not have such electrical issues impacting enhanced safety features. The truck is going back to the dealership for yet another attempt to repair, unlikely to be successful. A quick online search leads to numerous individuals experiencing the same issue with their Ram truck with seemingly no resolution in site outside of replacing the CADM module. It's absurd that this hasn't been issued as a formal recall.

Constantly getting warnings that Auto emergecy braking, blind spot monitoring, and forward collision is disabled and needs service. It flashes on and off on the dash at inconsistent rates and appears to be bad wiring connections or faulty equipment. Been to dealer numerous times and still not fixed. When I test drive the truck it had approximately 20 miles on it. There was a yellow warning light on that indicated there was a trailer attached and the blind spot monitoring was deactivated. The salesman said it was just a glitch and they would get it fixed. I bought the truck a few days later and it had many more miles on it. The warning light was still on and the salesman said he would take it to get repaired while I was finishing the paperwork. After waiting over 3 hours he brought the truck to me. When I got in to drive home the warning light was still on. I asked him and he said they couldn’t gix it but it wasn’t important and I could come back later. I made an appointment for the next Monday. They kept the truck over 12 hours and said the had to order a part but it was safe to drive. Weeks later I brought the truck back and again it was there from open to close and it wasn’t fixed. This time they said it wasn’t safe to drive and I had to leave it there until they could fix it. It wasn’t safe there appropriately 30 days and they called and said they couldn’t fix it and to come and pick it up. The warning light was still on and the blue nd spot monitor still isn’t working. Now it comes on and off randomly and makes a great amount of noise as the alarms go off and on.

The instrument cluster panel went blank for over 40 miles, despite us stopping, shutting off and restarting, etc. We had no idea what speed we were going or any of the metrics monitored by the instrument cluster like turn signals, fuel level, engine temperature, etc. No cruise control. We took it to an auto parts store that captured the error code U0155. The RAM app on my Iphone also sent a warning that the blind spot monitoring failed. I will be bringing it to Champion Chrysler Dodge Ram in Lansing, MI, on 7/7/2025 and do not intend to take it back until this problem is resolved. While the instrument cluster panel went back to normal since then, how can I be assured it will not fault again and what safety protocols can I rely upon?

Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 RHO (base trim) VIN: [XXX] Build Date: [XXX] Purchase Date: [XXX] Mileage at first occurrence: ≈ 40 miles (issue began immediately after delivery) Mileage now: [insert current mileage] Problem Description The instrument cluster (IPC) repeatedly reboots while driving or upon each key cycle. Every restart forces the odometer to reset and display 40 miles, erasing the accurate accumulated mileage. Simultaneously, the vehicle fails to retain any infotainment or vehicle-settings data (radio presets, climate preferences, drive modes, seat/mirror memory). This occurs 100 % of the time with every ignition cycle and has happened on every drive since purchase. Safety Concern A rebooting cluster distracts the driver, removes access to critical information (speedometer, warning lights), and falsifies odometer readings—potentially masking future maintenance intervals and impairing resale/title accuracy. The loss of settings can also disable previously selected safety aids (e.g., adaptive cruise presets, lane-keep parameters) without the driver’s knowledge. Attempts to Resolve Hard battery reset performed (negative-terminal disconnect, 30 min). Issue returned on first restart. Awaiting dealer appointment; preliminary research indicates similar complaints among early-production 2025 RHO vehicles and a possible IPC/BCM firmware defect. No official recall or TSB acknowledged for my VIN to date. Frequency Every ignition cycle; cluster reboot typically occurs within 30 seconds of start-up or during the first two minutes of driving. Infotainment/vehicle settings never save between cycles. Events & Dates [XXX]: Vehicle delivered; first reboot observed while exiting dealership lot. 06/29/2025–present: Issue persists on every drive. I am submitting this formal safety complaint regarding my 2025 RAM 1500 Limited, which I purchased new in November 2024 and currently with approximately 9,000 miles. The vehicle has exhibited repeated, dangerous failures of its advanced driver assistance and braking systems that place both the driver and public at serious risk. Summary of Safety Incidents: First Incident: While driving at approximately 35 mph, the vehicle abruptly and uncommandedly stopped, with no driver input. Fortunately, there were no vehicles behind me at the time, or this could have resulted in a high-speed rear-end collision. Second Incident: Roughly 400 miles later, while stopped at a traffic light, the vehicle displayed multiple warning alerts and shut itself off completely. Upon restarting and driving approximately 50 yards, the braking system failed for about five seconds, rendering the truck unable to stop. This failure was later replicated by the authorized dealership’s service team, who then informed me that the vehicle’s CPU had failed during repair attempts. The vehicle has now been out of service for over 50 days, and the dealer has returned it to me twice in an unsafe condition. Stellantis, the vehicle manufacturer, has acknowledged the problem but has not provided a resolution.

The windshield of my 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn was damaged by road debris and requires replacement. However, the manufacturer (FCA US LLC/Stellantis) has failed to supply the replacement windshield, rendering my vehicle undrivable for an extended period due to their inadequate parts supply chain. This delay creates a major safety risk because the vehicle cannot be driven legally or safely without a windshield. In emergency situations, the vehicle would be unusable, and I have incurred significant financial harm due to its inoperability. A new vehicle should not have months-long delays for critical safety components. The OEM supplier (Carlex) has confirmed that the windshield is in stock and available to ship, meaning the issue is due entirely to FCA's failure to place the order or manage their supply chain. This demonstrates negligence in FCA/Stellantis' parts supply chain, impacting customers who require essential repairs. This issue is not an isolated incident but rather a symptom of FCA's failure to ensure part availability for new vehicles. A consumer should not have to wait months to obtain a necessary safety component for a brand-new vehicle. I request that NHTSA investigate FCA/Stellantis' failure to supply essential replacement parts in a reasonable timeframe as this represents a potentially systemic issue affecting vehicle owners.
