Effective July 2026 · Will It Car (willitcar.com)
What this site is
Will It Car publishes informational summaries and scores derived from public U.S. government (NHTSA) data, plus user-submitted opinions. It is not mechanical, legal, financial, or purchasing advice, and no verdict is a guarantee about any individual vehicle. Vehicle purchase decisions are yours; always obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection.
Accuracy
We work from NHTSA’s records as published and show a “data verified” date on every car page. Government data contains errors and lags; our transformations are described on the methodology page. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Owner ratings (user content)
Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of Will It Car. By submitting one you confirm it reflects your genuine experience with a vehicle you own or owned, and you grant us a license to display it. We moderate for spam, abuse, astroturfing, and off-topic content — honest negative reviews are explicitly welcome. To report a review, use the Report button on any car page; to request removal of your own content, email us.
- One rating per vehicle per account; no compensation-influenced reviews.
- No doxxing, harassment, or personal information about others.
- Dealers and sellers may not review their own inventory. We remove astroturfing and may suspend accounts.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links are affiliate links and may earn us a commission at no cost to you. They are labeled where they appear and never influence scores or verdicts.
Acceptable use
Don’t scrape at abusive rates, attempt to game ratings, probe security, or use the service to break the law. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block abusive use.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Will It Car is not liable for damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, including vehicle purchase outcomes.
