I was driving the car when I believe it was a red wrench w/ a bolt appeared on the dashboard. The car slipped out of gear and stopped running. This happened three while driving it which is a major safety issue. I was headed to the highway and decided to return home. I called the dealership and made a service appt for 6/27/24. A quick google search told me A LOT of people are having this issue and dealerships do not know how to solve it. I took the vehicle in for a diagnostic test which came up clean. The dealer said since it no error codes came up there wasn't anything they could do. Since that time it has not happened again, but I am concerned it will. I don't drive the car often (it's an extra car in the family) - it only has 330 miles on it (purchased in April of 2024)

I lease a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xE. On November 13, 2023, I was at making a turn and came to a stop and then when I went to accelerate it wouldn't move and gear shifter was flashing for park. So, I moved it to park at the same time had a service electrical system warning with a picture of the charging port. I was not able to drive and was now locked in park. I had to open the panel near the shifter to pull the release to get it to roll. Unfortunately, you must hold the pull strap the whole time while police officers were attempting to push me out of the road. I also had no power steering and was almost impossible to get the steering wheel to move. I had to use all my force with one hand because other was holding the release strap. After getting to the side of the road the vehicle finally shut off completely. It then finally started, and I took it straight to the dealership. I also I got an email from Jeep for triggered alerts, and it was for Traction Battery Cut-off state. This was also my cutoff date for Jeep connect/Sirius XM for the trial from when I purchased the 2024 Wrangler Sahara 4xe. People in the 4xe forum have said this is a time it has happened to them before too. Was a scary situation because I was without power in the middle of the road and not able to move on my own. Almost was rear ended like 10 times. The dealership stated they couldn’t replicate and did something with the software. But when asking the lady at the dealership about all the things I have seen on the forum and if this was happening to others, she stated you can’t trust those forums. I was very taken back and felt she knew more than she would share with me. I then saw this was a recall for prior years and mine was a brand new 2024 at the time. I am constantly worried it will happen again and if it was anyone else in my family it could have been much worse. Now seeing an article about this being investigated by NHTSA, I felt the need to report what happen to me prior.

We took it to our Jeep dealer which we bought it from and they checked the problem and said there's an issue with it that there is no repair for it at the moment and that we should not drive on electrical if at all possible only on gas because it's a hybrid.

We purchased the vehicle on March 23, 2024. A few days later, a couple of dozen miles on it, the vehicle started to constantly show the following message on the dashboard 'Service Hybrid Electric Vehicle System'. We brought it to the dealership based on their earlies availability on April 17, 2024. They told us there's nothing wrong with the vehicle and it's safe to park inside our garage and we needed to wait for the 'harness' to arrive and be replaced. Finally on May 10th, 2024 the harness arrived and we brought the vehicle back to the dealership to perform the replacement. The vehicle has been in that dealership ever since and this past tuesday, June 18th, 2024 we were informed that the problem is now worse after attempting to repair it for about 40 days and that Jeep/Stellantis adviced the dealership to park the vehicle outside as it's not safe to park it inside anymore. Very scary for a brand new car! Please see attached pictures documenting the situation. The manufacturer refuses to apply the lemon law even though it has been well over 30 days and it hasn't been repaired.

I was making a right turn at approximately 20mph and the car stalled and gas pedal felt empty. I got the car into park. Then I tried to restart the vehicle in order to get it out of the road - I could not get into neutral to push out of the road. It stalled in the middle of the road which is extremely scary. The vehicle is supposed to have an off board power inverter (MOPAR PART 68522775AD or 68522775AB), and is supposed to work with all models of the 4XE wrangler. My Power port does not work and JEEP has been unhelpful in getting it replaced. My case number with FCA is 89963711.

I was driving and more then 10 times my car has stalled in the middle of the street while driving and the gear “D” began blinking and note has displayed on the screen saying “shift to P then to gear” and said “check transmission” after shifting to park, the car locked up and I then had to shut off the car, open the door and then turn the car back on to get it to drive again. This happened multiple times and happens every time the vehicle come to a stop at a red light or stop sign. I took the vehicle to the dealership and explained the problem and they placed me in a loaner car for a day or 2. When I was called to come the car everything seemed fine. They said the car “needed to be updated” I drove off and it was okay that afternoon and had no begun to stall and shut off in the street once again.

After hitting a minor bump in the road on the highway traveling approx. 60 MPH, my Jeep began to shake unusually longer than one might expect going over a bump. It stopped after just a few seconds, and I continued driving. About five miles later, traveling approx. 65 MPH it happened again, after hitting a bump or expansion joints on the highway. This time the shaking laster longer, maybe six or seven seconds until I was able to migrate to the slow lane, and once I reduced my speed it stopped. I continued driving slowly, and called the dealership immediately after arriving at my destination. I learned the problem is known to JEEP as the Death Wobble. I am going on record to report that this happened to me in my 2024 4XE Jeep Wrangler with 2,300 miles.

On the 2nd and 4th day of owning the vehicle the engine stalled while stopped I'm traffic at a red light. Both times the dash flashed "service transmission" and then instructed me to place the vehicle in "park". Once in park the dash instructed me to push the "start/stop" button but nothing would happen. I was stuck for a few minutes each time in traffic until the whole system finally powered down and I was able to restart. I brought it to the dealer the evening of the second engine stall and the Jeep was there for over a month waiting for a new transmission. They replaced the transmission even though this was a brand new vehicle out of the factory with serious safety issues and should have never been sold in the first place. There are many people on the Wrangler 4xe forums with the same issue please issue recalls! People are at risk of injury or death!

I leased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler since day 1 I have been having problems with the stereo system where it shuts off and on the whole drive. The screen goes black when I'm backing up the car and I find this dangerous because I almost hit a person while backing. I don't have control on the temperature because the screen is black so my windows would get foggy and the during the summer the Aircon doesn't work and during the winter the heat doesn't work. When my phone is connected to the car play and I'm using the navigation sysmtem it would shut of again and again to the point where im lost and almost ended up the the wrong way on the road, and also while driving the screen would turn on and show my backup camera while I'm on the highway. I have taken this car multiple times to the dealer service department and was told that its a software issues. it is now almost a year and nothing has been done about it. the car is a lease for 3 years and i'm paying $720 dollars per month for a car that I feel is not safe for me to drive. Please help me get a solution, I don't know who else I can contact in regards to this. I have a lot of videos that can attest to this problem.

I recently purchased a NEW 2024 jeep wrangler 4xe. Within the first week of ownership, the car broke down twice and was unable to be driven during a trip. The car started fine and was able to be driven at first, but twice, while stopped at a traffic light, it was unable to start again. The car needed to be towed to the local dealership on both occasions. This caused significant traffic hazards on both occasions. During the first service trip to the dealer, I was told that software needed to be updated, but on the second visit, I was told that the entire transmission needed to be replaced. I see online that others have complained of the same exact issue that I experienced [XXX] ) There were no warning lights or lamps on prior to the vehicle breaking down but after the incident on both occasions there was a "service transmission" message. This is the second I bringing my wrangler to the dealership repair center within 30 day. first time they have replace new battery , I thought the problem had solved, and the same problem happened again. I drove to other state after one hour , dashboard cluster appeared red turtle and the Adaptive cruise control and engine warning light popped up. driving speed gradually drain to 2 mph. and I heard loud fan noise run at high speed, I have to wait 10 minute until the fan noise gone ,than I can continue to drive, luckily I can made it back home, second day I drive to the dealership , after 15 minutes driving the red turtle popped up again while I am driving on the highway. lost power again I then exit the highway , and wait until the the fan noise goes away, then I start the engine , the fan loud noise comes again, I shutoff the engine and waited again, I kept doing this 40 minutes , it still don't work I have to give up and called a tow truck to towed the 4xe wrangler to the dealership. repair time uncertain.

I stopped at a stop light and the car shut down and an error display to "service Transmission" and the gear shift would not move. A few seconds later the error changed to “Park Brake Auto Engaged Press Brake + Push Switch to Release” I did this several times. Once I shifted the vehicle to park and tried to start nothing happened. After about 5 mins and blocking all traffic trying to leave the parking garage my jeep started. On [XXX], my wife was driving down the highway and vehicle started to "buck" and almost stalled out. Check engine light came. She was able to make it to the dealer. Dealer ran the diagnostics and received the P0032, P0171, P2097 and P0300 codes. The dealer found the attached document with basically no repair available. We contacted Jeep customer service and were told that it needs a software update, however, they did not know when it would be available. I was not satisfied with that answer and the case was transferred to Jeep retention. In the meantime, we picked up our Jeep and was advised by the service advisor that this is a known issue and advised us to keep the Star publication in the Jeep so if/when it happens again, they will know what to do. This isn't something we can fix since resetting the fuel system requires their equipment. Jeep retention just reiterated what customer service said. I bought a new jeep wrangler 4xe 2024. I drove the wrangler first day to city , and the dashboard suddenly popped up red little turtle warning light, vehicle started lost power in the middle of the street, it was crawling no more than 5 MPH. I randomly pressed the cruise control ACC couple minute the warning light went off, and I continued to drive on the road, the wrangler dashboard popped up the red turtle warning light again after I got off the bridge, vehicle no power again ,I have to double park on the street , I turn off the engine and turned it back on the red turtle warning light still there, I heard there is a fan on top of the dashboard blew with loud noise , fast speed and then it gradually slowing down, then the warning light went off, so I could continually drove back to office, I luckily I can make it back to office. I don't think it is safe to drive this vehicle, it could be happen if driving on the highway with 55 mph, it could lost power while driving on the highway, it is serious danger.

When driving through the a parking lot on my way to work, my brand new Wrangler with just over 1000 miles stalled/stopped running and lost power steering and wouldn’t restart for about 10 mins. I got a bunch of error messages but I can’t remember them all but one was about servicing the charging station (it wasn’t plugged in) and I had a check engine light stay on after I finally got it to start. It’s currently at the dealership and the tech mentioned that he saw there was a PIM (power inverter module) code that looks to have malfunctioned. They haven’t been able to duplicate the error yet at the dealership. My safety will for sure be at risk if the dealership doesn’t fix it because my car could randomly turn off on the highway and could put me at risk of being hit or if I was crossing traffic and it stalled in the middle of a lane causing me to get or it could leave me stranded in a dangerous area. No one other than the dealership maintenance department a has inspected yet.
