The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel diesel particulate sensor needed a manual regeneration. The vehicle was repaired under Ford TSB Numbers: 19-2343 and 21-2052; however, the failure recurred after driving for 2,000 miles. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel diesel particulate sensor needed a manual regeneration, and the DEF pump and injector had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

The front tie rod adjusting sleeve pulled apart from the tie rod end. The threads were stripped off so where you can just pull it off and on. It caused me to drive almost into a tree where I lost complete control of the truck. I did not hit any potholes or bumps that would have caused any damage. There is NO WAY that these two parts should have came apart. This is a severe safety hazard. The tow truck driver said he saw the SAME THING the day before on another Ford truck so clearly this is becoming an issue. I only have 90,000 miles on my truck so there isn't a lot of wear and tear on it either. I have photos of the parts after the incident and I've taken it to my repair shop to get it fixed. He also said that this should have never have happened and its very strange that it did. I had no prior warning of it happening - no shaking, thumping, rattling... nothing to tell me that there was an issue.

I own a 2019 Ford F-350 SD. While driving 60 MPH and driving over a pothole, the vehicle started to shake uncontrollably and pulling the vehicle to the left. Luckily I was in the left lane and only went onto the berm, If I had been in the right lane I would have hit the vehicle beside me. I pulled over on the side of the road and once I got below 25 miles and hour the vehicle stopped shaking. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 28,400. When is Ford going to be forced to fix this known problem, when someone is killed?

Steering stabilizer or dampener is not functioning. Experiencing death wobble on freeway every 2 miles when driven over 50. Have reported before and ford refused to fix it because they couldn’t repeat it. The stabilizer on this truck has been replaced three times not by ford.

I hit a rather large bump in the road at highway speeds and the steering wheel and whole truck started to shake and wobble extremely violently and i almost lost control. The only way to stop it was to come to a stop.

It had a tailgate recall, when recall first came out, they wouldn't look at it. It hadn't caused any damage, or wasn't bad enough. Then they didn't have the parts. Now when they have the parts, they will not fix it because it has to many miles on it. Well DUH! It is a work truck. Causing major insurance claims. and I can't get it fixed?

We started to have issues with our back up camera sporadically working, images appearing fuzzy and now the camera has gone completely blank - blue screen. We use this pickup truck to plow in the winter and the camera is important for that. Not having a working back up camera is a safety hazard under normal conditions as well. The issue is that Ford has a recall on "certain" 2019 F-350 trucks with back up camera issues WHICH ARE THE EXACT SAME ISSUES that are happening with our back up camera. This can not be a coincidence. I have called the Ford recall line and spoke to a representative who told me he would document my issue and forward the call information on to his manager. He told me to report it to the NHTSA as well. This is absolutely the same issue and we are not happy that they won't do right by us and take care of this issue.

The back up camera will display a blue screen when truck is in reverse. This is a full size truck and I am unable to see behind me when trying to backup. There have been recalls on this issue with ford but apparently my truck is not one of them.

Panoramic sunroof suddenly cracks. Contacted Ford dealership and they told me to go through my insurance. I read up on forums on this issue and it is happening to Ford owners with sunroofs.

Truck refuses to regen. Find a service bulletin for known MAF problems on the 6.7 engines. This issues cause truck to go into limp mode and can shut truck off with little to no notice. Leaving people stuck possibly in the middle of the road. Cost over $1100 to fix. How is there no recall or even warning to owners that this may be an issue? Just a technical service bulletin for service departments at Ford….

Steering suspension has been failing over and over for months. Several severe incidents while driving 70+ mph down the road. Complete loss of control of the vehicle, uncontrollable death wobbles. One incident put me in a ditch, while the others were near collisions. First incident - was no longer able to drive above 30mph without sever death wobble. After “repairs”, recreated the issue at 75 mph and I’m unable to drive safely above 35 mph. Ford has confirmed many parts needing replacement but will not take ownership in replacing them. First incident -$5,300. Second incident - nearly $2500. There were no warning lamps, messages, or any notification of failure prior to incident. The entire front end of these vehicles need to be recalled. There is a class action lawsuit for a reason. I’m unable to sell my truck, or drive it do to costly RECURRING repairs. I’m fearful for my life in my Ford.

We are trying to make it out of the mountains of Colorado and back home to Missouri. We have the most horrific shaking on our truck. I am scared to death. This "death wobble" is TERRIBLE! I want someone to know now in case we die! We have a horse trailer loaded down with 4 horses and 2 dogs. There should be a recall for this!!!! An OBD2 engine code of P2002 came up, so I took it to my local Ford Dealership. While it was at the dealership, I did a little research and found out that this crack on the DPF filter was a common occurrence on 2017-2020 F250 and F350 Powerstrokes. Ford is aware of this problem but they told me that my warranty would not cover this, as it was a "filter"! This crack is located on the piping right before a flange connection! It is a factory weld that is cracking in every one of this diesel trucks! I was quoted a repair cost of over $6300 ! This is outrageous and I refuse to pay this much for a "filter " because only the dealership can replace it!

As well as rear camera failure I have the front camera failure. Which is worse cannot see out of the front camera really at all. Looks like a white screen. Safety for others as well as myself are at risk on a daily basis. You cannot see if there's small children or objects in front of your vehicle when you're leaving. Dealership has looked at it. This camera actually started to fail before the rear backup camera. This is a very serious problem and needs to be fixed by Ford immediately a recall needs issued it's a matter of time before someone is killed or a child is killed.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2019 Ford F-350 Crew verdict →
