VEHICLES INVOLVED: 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara – VIN [XXX] 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon – VIN [XXX] RECALLS: • 68C – NHTSA 25V-741 (HV battery fire risk – do NOT recharge, park away from structures) • 78C – NHTSA 25V-766 (engine contamination causing catastrophic failure, fire, and loss of propulsion) SUMMARY: Both of my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles have been declared unsafe by FCA. FCA directed me to stop charging, park away from structures, and avoid normal use due to risks of vehicle fire and sudden loss of propulsion. FCA confirms no remedy is available for either recall and does not provide a repair timeline. SAFETY RISK: The vehicles may catch fire during normal operation or lose all propulsion without warning, creating a crash risk. FCA acknowledges this in their recall notices. Both vehicles are currently unsafe, unusable, and cannot be operated as intended. MANUFACTURER RESPONSE: FCA created case numbers [XXX] and [XXX] but stated parts are unavailable. Only partial rental reimbursement is offered. This does not resolve the safety hazard or unusable status of both vehicles. REQUEST: I am requesting NHTSA to review FCA’s lack of remedy, prolonged delay, and the continued safety hazard affecting these vehicles.
