2023 Bronco Sport had its serpentine belt replaced in February of 2026 because it was loose causing my engine to overheat. I had to have it towed because I was sitting on the side of the road. Then in April of 2026 the Bronco started making horrible loud clanging sounds and jerking when it was put in gear. Towed again to the shop. Now I am told this 3 year old car needs a new transmission. Doing research i have found that several Bronco owners have the same problem. Why does Ford not have a recall for this!! My mechanic was looking for a rebuilt one and can't find one because the demand for them is higher than what the supply is. This should tell you something!!

My engine light came on and stayed on. The vehicle also stalled twice when trying to drive home. I was already scheduled for my yearly inspection at the Ford dealership in Washington PA who said they would also check into this issue. The Ford dealership advised me that this was an emissions issue where the valve was sticking and it wouldn't pass inspection unless I paid to have a new valve put in and also have new tubing put in. I paid around $700 to have it all replaced and then it passed inspection. Now my sister who also has a 2023 Ford Sport Bronco is having the same issue and is scheduled for repair. Both my sister's and my vehicle have milage that is just over 36,000 miles. I will give her the phone number to call and report her issue as well. I feel this should be a recall issue.

There have been multiple occasions where I have started or shut down my 2023 Bronco Heritage Sport Limited and (for no reason I can explain) the speakers started making this extremely loud digital feedback noise, sometimes including the subwoofer. It's hard to stay in the car for too long with this noise going on at an extremely loud decibel. This vehicle has the B&O sound system. I tried a number of things but only after letting the car completely shut down for a few minutes did it eventually stop (There seems to be no volume control when this happens). Thankfully this happened during start up or shut down and not while I was driving, but I'm a little worried about that happening now since I don't know what caused it to happen.

I received a recall letter in August 2025 stating there is is possible for fuel injector to crack which may result in fuel accumulating on the top of the engine. The liquid fuel and/or fuel vapor that accumulates near a hot surface, such as a hot engine or exhaust may ignite resulting in an under-hood fire. It has been 6 months and there are still no parts available. I find this to be unacceptable and am worrying about this all the time. I personally know someone who's Bronco sport caught on fire and destroyed the car. It could most certainly destroy more than just the car. I don't think this should be taken lightly and should be resolved immediately. I mean I can't even sell the car who would want to buy a car that has a known fire safety recall or how could I sell it with knowing about this problem. Dear Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, I am submitting this letter in support of a Texas Lemon Law complaint regarding my vehicle, which has experienced repeated mechanical failures that substantially impair its use, value, and safety. The vehicle has been subject to multiple manufacturer recalls and remains in the repair shop at this time. It is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle has exhibited a persistent knocking sound from the engine or drivetrain area, intermittent loss of power, and a brake system defect in which the brakes stick unexpectedly. These conditions have continued despite multiple repair attempts by an authorized dealership, including repairs related to manufacturer recalls. These defects constitute a serious safety concern. The loss of power occurred while driving and created a hazardous situation by preventing the vehicle from accelerating as expected in traffic. The brake sticking condition impaired my ability to maintain safe control of the vehicle and increased the risk of sudden or unintended braking, endangering myself, passengers, and other motorists. The issues have been reproduced and acknowledged by the dealership, as demonstrated by repeated service visits. The vehicle has been inspected and repaired by the manufacturer’s authorized service center on multiple occasions. No inspections have been conducted by law enforcement or insurance representatives. Prior to and following recall repairs, the vehicle continued to exhibit symptoms including the knocking noise and intermittent power loss. Any warning lamps or dashboard messages are UNKNOWN. The vehicle began emitting strong gasoline fumes through the air conditioning vents, creating a serious safety concern and rendering the vehicle unsafe to operate. The vehicle was previously serviced at Hacienda Ford in Kingsville, Texas, in September, at which time the active safety recall was not disclosed. On December 8, 2025, we reported a gasoline odor coming from the A/C vents to the dealership. The dealership stated the concern was not covered under warranty due to mileage exceeding 60,000 miles and did not disclose the existence of the safety recall. Instead, the dealership suggested the issue could be related to a radiator coolant leak. A tow truck was dispatched to retrieve the vehicle from a workplace location. We were required to pay $86 for half of the towing cost, which we believe is improper in connection with a manufacturer safety recall. On December 15, 2025, we returned to Hacienda Ford to request a loaner vehicle or manufacturer refund due to the unresolved safety recall. We were advised that our only option was to trade in the vehicle. The dealership offered $17,000 for the trade-in and stated an additional $10,000 would be added to the cost of another vehicle due to the remaining loan balance. We refused this option due to the financial harm it would cause and requested a manufacturer buyback, at which point we were told to contact Ford Corporate. The dealership has refused to provide a loaner or rental vehicle unless approved by a service manager and has continued to offer a trade-in option that shifts the financial burden of a safety defect onto the consumer. The vehicle remains undrivable due to safety concerns, and no repair remedy is currently available. We contacted Ford Customer Relations and they referred us back to dealership
