All safety features randomly appear and go off as well as while driving 80mph down the highway the speedometer and RPM gauge both dropped to zero. Vehicle has been at the shop multiple times and stayed for three months where they could not duplicate the issues. I have pictures and videos of multiple instances. Dealership replaced back up camera and was told that was the cause for the safety lights going off and within a week of getting vehicle back the forward collision light has come on two different occasions when no vehicle is around as well as two instances when a vehicle slammed on brakes in front of me and the front collision sensor did not go off at all.

Vehicle was being driven on access road when the LKA jerked the steering wheel to the right, causing a collision with a vehicle entering road from commercial drive. The road lines were straight with no breaks, hands were on the steering wheel. The vehicle was made to swerve out of its lane without enough time to correct before collision.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2022 Hyundai Elantra Gt verdict →
