My car was hit from the rear by another vehicle while I was traveling with my [XXX] daughter. The impact was very strong, and one of the tires came off. The contact's wife sustained neck, left shoulder, and chest injuries that required medical attention. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
