TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING, THE FRONT DRIVER'S DOOR OPENED INDEPENDENTLY. AS THE DRIVER ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE THE DOOR, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER SUSTAINED HEAD, NECK, AND BACK INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SPRINGFIELD FORD LINCOLN (50 BALTIMORE PIKE, SPRINGFIELD, PA 19064), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V652000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES); HOWEVER, THE REMEDY FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
