The vehicle was then towed to a dealer where he was given an estimate for a diagnostic test. The contact was also given an estimate for the repair. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V316000 (Steering). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed her that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was provided a case number. The vehicle was towed back to her residence and was not repaired. The failure mileage was 185,516.

2014 F150 Lariat owned since it was new. Windshield wipers failed to come on during Florida thunderstorm while driving on I-10 Westbound from Jacksonville Florida. Was totally unable to see out of the windshield and had to pull over until the rainstorm subsided. Checked all relevant fuses and relays and wiper switch. Nothing so far has been able to fix this Safety Defect. Ford knows the part is defective because the Windshield wiper motor is not available from Ford or any dealer, and there is no expectation by the dealer than anything will ever be available to fix this Safety Defect.

A complete total brake failure happened and i had no braking power but the parking brake, Had i entered into the main traffic and applied my brakes nothing would happen and i probably would have had an accident. I didn't have time to look for any warning lites as i was focused on beong able to stop the truck.As for my safety and others it could have been bad if not me being able to stop the truck.

Truck shifts from 6th gear to 1st gear while driving at speeds of 60-70 mph for no apparent reason. Then sticks in 5th and barely moves. I can't drive it, it's dangerous. The part is out of stock everywhere I look. I can't get it fixed. It has 76000 miles on it. It's the only vehicle I own and it is worthless as of now. I can't trade it in because of the issue, can't drive it either. Ford should extend the recall. I have the same 6r80 transmission, with the same faulty part as the lead frame recalls for the 09-13 models. I am 1 month past the cutoff line for the original list. This is crazy, you can buy a truck with the same dangerous issue and it's not being fixed by Ford.

The brakes stopped working and I hit my office trailer this morning and almost one of the workers on the jobsite. I didn't do any damage to the trailer or the body of my truck due to the low speed I was traveling. I have been working on cars my whole life and although I am not a certified auto mechanic I am 100% positive that the fluid from the master cylinder has leaked into the booster. Before I arrived to my jobsite the Brake light came on due to the brake fluid reservoir being empty. There is already a recall for this very dangerous failure and it should be fords responsibility to make my truck safe just like others with the Same Exact Make, Models, Years and issues.

I was driving in town. Suddenly the "check brake fluid" light came on and brakes stopped working. Had to push all the way to the floor to get truck stopped. Went immediately to an independent service center nearby to have brakes checked. Mechanic knew immediately what the problem was and showed me where the brake fluid was going into the brake booster. He also stated he has seen the problem before and there is a recall out by Ford. I immediately contacted the Ford Dealership where I purchased the vehicle new. They told me I could bring it in for repairs but checked the VIN number and said there was no recall out for my truck yet. It was not safe to drive the truck in the condition it was in. I made a very cautious and slow drive approximately 20 miles to get the truck from my home to Southwest Ford in Weatherford, Texas for repairs. The repairs were made and I paid a total of $1,146.38 to cover the repairs. This problem is part of an ongoing recall. Brake warning light came on and brake pedal went further down toward floorboard. Drove cautiously to auto parts store for brake fluid. Thankfully I wasn’t driving at higher speeds on a major highway. Filled empty reservoir and made it to independent auto repair shop about 3 miles away. Reservoir empty again. Mechanic says brake master cylinder is leaking brake fluid into the brake booster. Informed me of safety recall 16S24, but my VIN was not included. Same make, model, engine size and manufacturing plant as recall. Called local Ford dealership and they would not fix for free, because VIN not included. Repair cost me $1395.54! I do not understand why my truck is not covered under the recall and request a further investigation as to why Ford is not responsible for the reimbursement of the failed safety components.

The Ford f-150 2014 heated mirrors and rear sliding window defrost system stop working ALL fuses and relays were checked and in good working order. When brought to Ford Motor company dealer attention was told that rear window would have to be replaced at my cost to correct safety problem. Living in Michigan where we get freezing rain and snow being unable to use outside mirrors to safely see traffic to change lanes is a big risk factor for all on the highways. Ford motor company knows of this but not concerned to make right with owners of vehicles. These vehicles have been inspected by Ford motor. There is NO WARNING light to let one know that system is not functioning other then ice build up on mirrors.

I have a 2014 Ford F150 tremor eco-boost. The vehicle has 104,000 miles on it. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been noticing the vehicle will randomly feel like it’s losing power in the RPMs will oscillate for a few seconds and then the vehicle feels like it drops into gear. I wasn’t sure what was going on I had no trouble codes. Finally one day I started driving I got up to about 50 miles an hour and I noticed the RPM started oscillating little and I also noticed that at the same time it was shifting from six gear to fifth gear back-and-forth and then suddenly the vehicle dropped in the first gear the rear tires locked up and almost lost control of the vehicle. Fortunately no one was behind me. This is a very dangerous condition. I called the Ford dealer and I have an appointment to bring the vehicle in i’m not sure how successful that will be since I don’t have a trouble code and the vehicle does this randomly. It will be a long time before I trust this truck again if ever.

Premature failure of left front coil spring with approximately 103,000 miles on truck.. Spring is still not repaired. I believe the broken state of this spring could have steering and handling implications to both this vehicle and others under certain conditions while operating vehicle on rough roadways, especially pothole laden ones. This spring failure was brought to my attention by may local Ford dealer during a routine inspection. I reported the premature failure to Ford Motor Company during a detailed chat session on line and also a detailed letter mailed to Ford. My only warning was when my dealer reported it to me. I did some online research and this seems to a fairly common occurrence. I also believe Ford is aware that this problem is related to inferior material and or workmanship of these coil springs, with the spring coating being related to the premature failure.
