Tire wore to 2/32” in less than 17,000 miles. Belt wires showing from the sidewalls. Submitted a claim to Nexen and they cited excessive off-road use and overinflation as the cause. Neither of these is true. This vehicle has only been used for rural mail delivery on paved or dirt roads Claim denied

Tire flattened after tread wore through the tread and hole created from chunking. Tire size: 255-75-R17. At about 16,500 miles the tire began to show steel belt wires from the sides and developed a slow leak. Measured tread was less than 2/32”. I submitted a claim to Nexen and it was denied.

All four Nexen tires failed within 16,500 miles during normal use on dirt and paved roads. I have submitted claims to Nexen for four ties on my vehicle which wore to less than 2/32” tread in less than 17,000 miles creating unsafe conditions and one slow leak. Nexen has denied all claims for redress .
