CV axel clicking when turning. Most noticeable when outdoor temperature is cold. Also when applying right turn signal and making the turn. After making the turn when the switch goes back to neutral it will bump on the left turn signal and it will signal 3 times causing confusion to other drivers.

My 2024 Honda Prologue has numerous issues. First, the CV joints are making the clattering noises when turning right from a stop. Started at almost 8000 miles, more faintly, but now very noticeable. I noticed the left has now started making the same noises as well at 9000 miles on the odometer. Soon after purchase, the automatic braking/collision avoidance slammed on my brakes HARD while driving at highway speeds. Nothing was present in front of me, early morning and no cars around or I probably would have been rear ended for sure. I disabled the auto braking but the “BRAKE” alert comes on almost daily, with nothing there. Backing up did the same so I disabled it as well. Lastly, every time I use my turn signal to turn right and I bring the wheel back to center, it cancels out as it should but it then turns the left signal on for 3 blinks. Assuming the stalk is to strong or weak and goes back just far enough to indicate like I am going to turn or enter left. This can surly cause confusion to other drivers. The dealer stated Honda is aware of the CV noise but has no remedy at this time. For the other issues, they needed me to leave my car but had no loaner available. I will have to return there at another time as the loaners are “first come first served”.

During turns to the left, there is a noticeable "clicking" sound that I can hear inside the cabin. I have not heard the noise when turning right. Research I've done seems to indicate this may be a CV joint issue on the vehicle. I am going to take it in for service shortly, but since it appears to be common among other vehicles of the same type I decided to file a report for tracking.

The front axel or CV joints are making a metallic grinding and clacking sound when turning, especially when turning up curvy roads with a steep incline. Further, there is a loud clacking sound (from the same area, under the hood) when the vehicle is on the highway at speeds greater than 55 mph. This issue started around 2,000 miles but has increased to become a signficant disruption now at 9,500 miles.

The vehicle emits a loud clicking or popping noise from the front axle/CV joints when turning from a complete stop, despite having very low mileage. It has already been serviced twice and is currently in service for the same issue. A failing CV axle is essential to steering and can pose significant safety risks, especially at higher speeds.

Clicking nose from axles when making hard left or right turns. Took to dealer and it took 2 visits to repair. Driver’s door window leaks when it rains or I go thru a car wash. My left shoulder gets dripped on. My car now has 7,500 miles. Both of these issues were present from day 1.

On April 19, 2025, the "Engine/Battery Fault" warning light illuminated on my vehicle. At the time, the car had only 1,398 miles on the odometer and had been purchased just one month prior. Shortly after the warning appeared, I received a diagnostic report from OnStar indicating fault code U362A. The vehicle exhibited significantly reduced acceleration and limited charging capability. Concerned about the issue, I brought the car to the dealership where I purchased it for inspection and service. The dealership performed a reset of the main computer system, which cleared the warning light. However, I remain concerned about the reliability of the vehicle. If this issue were to occur again—especially while driving in a remote area—I could be left stranded without the ability to drive or charge the car. While the problem has not resurfaced since the reset, I am worried it may return unexpectedly, affecting my confidence in taking the vehicle on longer trips.

My car makes a ton of noise when turning both right and left. Both driveshafts have been replaced and the noise has continually gotten worse. Honda dealership states that this is a known issue and no solution is in sight.

I leased a 2024 Prologue Touring in March and have about 600 miles on it so far. I just started noticing a knocking sound when turning my car left and accelerating. This sound and position appear to be the same issue others have reported about the CV joint. This issue seems to be affecting MANY of other prologue owners from what I see on social media pages specific for the Honda prologue. I hope this gets investigated and a resolution is provided for all of us experiencing this issue. I am afraid it could potentially cause accidents if not handled quickly.

When steering left or right especially when doing a u turn u can hear a clicking noise and this is a new Honda prologue with only 2,500 miles

Since purchasing the vehicle august 2024, I have experienced a noticeable noise emanating from the front axles whenever I turn the steering wheel in either direction. This noise is concerning and suggests a potential mechanical problem. I have taken my vehicle to Ocean Honda ventura on two separate occasions for diagnosis and repair of this issue. On both instances, the front axles were replaced. However, the noise persists even after these replacements. During my most recent visit on 04/03/2025, I was informed by Honda representatives that they have exhausted all current solutions and that there is nothing further they can do to resolve the noise issue at this time. I am deeply concerned about this ongoing problem. The persistent noise when turning indicates a potential defect that could compromise the safety and reliability of my vehicle. Despite two attempts at repair involving the replacement of the front axles, the issue remains, and Honda has indicated an inability to provide a further remedy. I request that the NHTSA investigate this matter. I believe this may be a more widespread issue affecting other 2024 Honda Prologue vehicles and poses a potential safety risk to drivers.

When turning left from a stop, there is a clicking sound that is coming from the front left wheel area. I don't know if this is safety risk. I have not had a dealer inspection yet. There are no warning lights or messages in the car relating to this problem. It has happened several times. I first heard it at about 350 miles. The car now has about 700 miles. I have heard the noise at least 4 times.
