The contact owns a 2022 Ram Promaster. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V436000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while turning on the propane, there was a large cloud of propane forming underneath the vehicle. The contact became aware of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V755000 (Equipment). The vehicle had been taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a propane leak. The dealer confirmed that parts for NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V436000 (Back Over Prevention) were not available, and the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V755000 (Equipment). The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V755000 (Equipment). The failure mileage was 11,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V627000 (Structure, Equipment) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and the contact was denied reimbursement for replacing the Firmware. The contact had not experienced a failure related to the recall.
