UNKNOWN I have had this jeep to 3 different dealerships multiple times over the 2 years I have owned it. I am getting my 3rd set of tires put on today. I have put approx 30k on it. It is eating tires. Down to the belt. The vehicle starts to vibrate at 70mph. I just had it aligned in March 2026, they said tires were fine. Vehicle started to vibrate at high speeds again and I took it in. It is so far out of alignment that the belts are showing on the front right tire. I smell burning rubber almost after every drive. This cannot be safe. What is causing is to go out of alignment constantly? I have read multiple threads where this is a known issue and something needs to be done about it, PLEASE

While driving down the freeway at 70mph the sunscreen had a spontaneous sunroof explosion on the freeway. As it flew off the vehicle it damaged the top of the body with deep gouges along to of the vehicle. We had the sunscreen closed over us at the time or my infant daughter would have been seriously hurt by the explosion of glass and the driver and passenger at the time would have had glass raining from them. There was no one in front of us when this occurred and happened with no warning or any visible damage prior to the incident.

While driving my car engine just shuts off without any warning. My car had a message on the dash after the engine stopped saying to shift the car to park and the emergency parking brake came on. I had to switch my four ways on in the middle of the road. If this happened on a busier street my vehicle would have been hit because I could not drive my car to the side of the road. It was just a dead stop without any notice there was a problem. No dash lights before the engine stopped or anything. Just messages stating to put the car in park after the problem. I have two little girls who are regularly in my vehicle with me and it is scary to think that my Wagoneer engine can just decide to shut off at anytime with no warning.

The vehicle experienced a charging system failure while driving. The battery warning light illuminated and battery voltage dropped to approximately 11.7 volts while the engine was running. The vehicle continued to discharge the battery while being driven, creating a risk of loss of electrical power and possible vehicle shutdown. Diagnostic trouble codes included P0562 (System Voltage Low), P0BDE (Drive Motor Inverter Temperature Sensor E Circuit High), and P0AEE (Drive Motor Inverter Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance). The charging system was inspected by an independent repair facility. The serpentine belt was verified to be functioning properly and related fuses were checked. The repair facility diagnosed a failure of the 48-volt eTorque Belt Starter Generator (Motor Generator Unit/MGU). The replacement part is reportedly on backorder. The condition is repeatable and occurs during normal driving. The battery warning lamp and low voltage condition were observed and documented. This failure creates a potential safety concern because the vehicle can lose charging capability while operating on public roads.

While my wife was operating our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series III (5.7L HEMI eTorque, ~44,700 miles) at highway speed, the vehicle suffered a sudden and complete electrical power failure. Electric power steering cut out completely while the vehicle was in motion, creating an immediate safety hazard and nearly causing an accident. The vehicle was disabled and required towing. The dealership (Safford Jeep) diagnosed fault code P0B32: catastrophic internal hardware and voltage failure of the 48-volt eTorque Hybrid Battery Pack. The 12-volt battery was also destroyed as a consequence of the 48V pack failure — the 12V charges exclusively via a DC-to-DC converter fed by the 48V loop; when the pack failed, the converter lost power and the 12V battery was starved of charge. NOTE: This incident is consistent with the active NHTSA ODI preliminary evaluation of 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Ram 1500 eTorque electrical failures. FCA/Stellantis has acknowledged these failures are likely caused by an electrical concern. My P0B32 event represents a catastrophic failure of the exact system under investigation, with the additional safety consequence of complete loss of power steering at highway speed. Stellantis Corporate Case #96719164 is open. The vehicle has been repaired (48V battery pack replaced) but Stellantis has declined to address the warranty access barrier created by their diagnostic system architecture. The dealer's equipment required a new 12-volt battery installation before it could communicate with the covered hybrid system — a $645 mandatory prerequisite to accessing a Federal Emissions Warranty repair.

2022 Wagoneer Series III has major alignment issues and ruining tires with the outside tire edges cupping/wearing bald due to the alignment kicking out within an hour of being aligned and driven at highway speeds. Vehicle also has a death wobble when going over 65 mph and pulls hard to the right almost causing the vehicle to go off the road or into another lane if you are not bare knuckling the steering wheel to the left to counteract the hard right pulling. Vehicle has been in and out of the Dealership since 12/2024 to address the problem, however FCA/Stellanis has come back with no fix or solution to the problem and states to bring the vehicle in every 3,000 miles to have an alignment done, which is unacceptable. The vehicle has most recently been at the Dealership since 1/2026 and is still currently at the Dealership as of today 6/5/2026. A Star ticket was opened with the Manufacturer to address the issues, and a Field Engineer was sent out who was unable to diagnose why the alignment is falling out after the vehicle is realigned. Stellanis/FCA is now claiming this is a "maintenance" issue and not a manufacturing defect. The Dealership most recently had an independent technician who specializes in diagnostics/troubleshooting FCA issues look at the vehicle and the technician also could not diagnose why the alignment is continuing to fail. Online forums have hundreds of Consumer complaints about this same issue with trying to get it resolved with FCA directly and having no luck. This is a major safety issue that will eventually lead to a tire blowout or veering off the road and could result in serious injuries to someone if this is not addressed properly. It should not take someone getting in an accident or being killed/seriously injured for FCA/Stellanis to take this manufacturing defect seriously. These vehicles need to be recalled and thoroughly inspected with thorough alignment testing.

Car seat has been installed in Jeep Wagoneer for approximately 3 months. Was installed by a CPST. 25 lb rear-facing child; installed with lower latch anchors. When placing child in seat one day, CPST-caregiver suddenly noticed movement in the seat and confirmed more than 1 inch of movement at the belt path. Upon removal to reinstall, it was noted that the Snuglock lockoff arm was no longer locked in place. Child's safety was put at risk because there was no longer a secure install of the car seat. Car seat only inspected prior to reinstall by CPST-caregiver. Car seat available for inspection upon request. Car seat still in use.

My car has put itself into park and shut completely off three times in the last week while driving. The cruise control shut off while driving on the interstate. There was a message pop up twice saying service electronic throttle system. I don’t feel safe driving my jeep wagoneer at all, let alone with my three children. The first time it shut off I was in the middle of a busy intersection with my family in the car. Luckily the other two times I was at a stop sign, but it’s scary and completely unsafe and unacceptable.

Car begins to wobble very violently when going over 65. This has been ongoing for a while now and when I took it to the Jeep dealership they said it was just my tires. The problem is worse now and I feel unsafe driving my vehicle. I also was never called back for my recalls to be taken care of.

While cruising on the freeway at approximately 70 miles per hour with no vehicles or objects ahead. The vehicle suddenly made a loud warning sound and flashed a message on the dash. The emergency brakes were automatically applied and nearly stopped in the middle of the freeway. The car behind had to swerve to avoid a collision. The vehicle then resumed driving forward. I was using the adaptive cruise control.

I was driving northbound on US 31 near Peru, IN. I stopped at a red light and my car auto shut off initiated. However when the light turned green, I beganto drive again and the car died/stalled on the highway. The emergency parking break engaged. Oncoming traffic, who saw a green light were not slowing down and I was afraid I would be rear ended while my car was stalled at a previously red, but now green light. It took multiple attempts in quick succession but I was able to restart the vehicle and continue. I was afraid myself and my kids would be HIT and killed. Subsequently my car had had battery issues. Randomly the battery had drained or car will not unlock using key fob.

I was driving about 10mph around a turn and the motor turned off and I had to park to start the motor again. When I came to a complete stop the car engaged it's parking break and suddenly jerked forward. This has happened several times in the last year and this time I was the driver of the vehicle. It's a extreme safety issue and my wife has had it happen to her at a busy intersection more than one time.

The vehicle flashed a critical low battery warning while in operation driving. After traveling approximately 2 miles further, the vehicle warning lights started flashing and the vehicle shifted into park and shut off. In the middle of the road the vehicle could not be shifted into neutral and was stuck in a dangerous place. The emergency flashers shut off after 15 minutes while waiting for a tow truck. This vehicle has had two battery replacements in the last two years.

My jeep will randomly not let me back up as it thinks there is something behind it and automatically apply the emergency brake. I brought it to dealership when it was still under warranty for this issue and they could not figure it out. My jeep will randomly stop as it’s driving, it will still rev when I push the pedal but it will not move in reverse or drive. The automatic shut off says it needs to be serviced and does not work. The automatic emergency braking comes on randomly if I stop. I constantly get alerts that my blind spots are blocked. I’ve cleaned sensors as the dealership has recommended which doesn’t make a difference. My lift gate will only work intermittently. Sometimes it shuts on my kids. My screen only works sometimes. Which is dangerous when I don’t have access to back up camera. I currently owe $31,000 still on this vehicle and I have 5 kids. I really need this vehicle fixed as I cannot afford to get rid of it. It has been unreliable since I’ve owned it and I’m really disappointed in this Wagoneer. It’s very expensive to insure and it’s had nothing but issues. The tow bills are becoming expensive as well.

When driving the car this winter, noticed the smell of something burning. After that, the heated steering wheel stopped warming. Took it to a repair shop since there was open no recall related to this. Repair shop diagnosis: - heated steering wheel not working due to electrical short. More info below, pictures included. Finding Confirmed customer concern. Attempted to activate the heated steering wheel and found the light to come on for roughly 4-5 seconds then shut itself off. Scanned the vehicle and found 2 fault pertaining to the heating element and steering wheel having an open circuit. Removed the airbag and visually inspected all connectors for the steering wheel. Found the 2 pin connector from the steering wheel to the clock spring to be stuck in the clock spring. Further removed the steering wheel and trim pieces around the steering column and visually inspected the clock spring. Found the 2 pin connector between the steering wheel and the clock spring to be melted together and noticed the wires were getting hot to touch when activating the heated steering wheel. Back probed the connector between the clock spring and the heated steering wheel connector and found less than 2 volts present. Monitored and found while the steering wheel was being moved left to right the voltage would fluctuate dramatically. Recommend replacing the air bag clock spring and steering wheel due to melt damage and further monitor voltage and functionality of the heated steering wheel and other accessories. Highly recommend not operating the heated steering wheel until repairs have been made. Could cause more damage to the surrounding components.

During normal driving in temperatures below approximately 20–27°F, the vehicle began losing electrical charge as indicated by the malfunction indicator light (MIL) and battery warning message. While my wife was attempting to return home, multiple vehicle systems progressively shut down, including electric power steering, ABS, auto-leveling suspension, and lane departure assistance. As she was pulling into our driveway, the vehicle completely shut off, resulting in total loss of propulsion and power steering. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. This was the second occurrence of this failure. A third incident occurred the following day under similar temperature conditions. During that event, MIL and battery warnings appeared again during normal driving. She was able to reach our driveway before complete shutdown occurred. On the most recent incident, the following diagnostic trouble codes were present: P0EEC, P1618, P0008, and U0111. These are the same codes that were recorded during the previous two incidents. After the first two failures, Kernersville Dodge stated the issue had been repaired and charged us for the repairs. The same failure condition has now reoccurred. This failure results in sudden loss of propulsion and loss of power steering while driving, creating a significant safety hazard.

The lithium battery failed causing a complete loss of power, power steering, power brakes while driving with 3 small children on board. Battery indicator warning on dash. The dealer expressly stated that the car was safe to drive. Obviously that was incorrect. Thank goodness we were able to safely stop and be towed to the dealer. I escalated to "Jeep Cares" Case number Jeep Wagg Case 95595257and going on 4 weeks and no one can tell me when the battery will be available and that this battery will only last 3 years. If Jeep has no inventory then that is a red flag and the consequences of this failure puts lives at risk
