Vehicle has not has cruise control, abs, traction/stability control for over 2 years. No traction control or stability in the winter is horrible. Not being able to control speed when traveling is inconvenient. The warning lamps illuminated and went away for weeks. Then randomly just stayed illuminated. Abs hydraulic pump has failed. The recall has been open for over a year and a half and no parts or remedy to fix it.

My 2018 Ram 2500 has been experiencing a message about servicing the electronic braking system and it is causing issues with my entire truck. When the issue arises, my automatic running boards will constantly work up and down without the truck even being on, I am having a constant message popping up on my infotainment system with a constant dinging, causing my traction control light to be illuminated on my dash. My Ram app showed me that I have 4 services required on 7/5/2026 which include, Safety Recall C4B, Antilock Brake System, Brake Warning Light and airbags. This causes concern for not only my safety but my families safety as multiple people operate my vehicle along with my child. The last thing anyone wants is for someone to get hurt especially when it could be avoided however I feel that the incident is being avoided since it has taken over almost two (2) years since this recall was issued and nothing has been done to repair said recall. I am a Law Enforcement Officer in WV along with a Volunteer Firefighter. I see the outcomes of issues with negligence of persons driving vehicles and rarely do I see anything where it is not the driver's fault. I would not wish to have to investigate into the cause of a crash that took someone's life where a known issue was able to cause the accident and no sort of remedy has been found for almost two years after being known.

Vehicle is unsafe to drive due to the loss of ABS and traction control. The constant dinging of the warning is very distracting. Stellantis, Ram Trucks, and local dealers do not seem to care that this has been an ongoing issue for over a year and still do not have any parts for the recall.

I purchased this vehicle a month and a half ago from Max Motors in Belton Missouri. I was not aware of the recall until I signed the paperwork. At the time the ABS system for open recall C4B. This issue has not been remedied for almost 3 years due to “part shortage”. My ABS system has not completely stopped working. My vehicle is no longer safe to drive.

Ram (Stellantis) has had a antilock brake recall going for more than 2 years. No parts are available. The recall documentation on this website says that braking could fail causing an accident. My truck is included in the recall. The dealer and Ram say it is ok to drive. The dashboard board lights are constantly going off. What do I do? I need the truck to pull heavy loads. Is it safe? When will parts be available? After almost 3 years, they could redesigned the whole truck.

The truck started with a death wobble in the steering. Ball joints, bushing, stabilizer bar replaced front end work was done. Brought to the dealership approx 4 times for the same steering problem. It still has a small wobble pulling to the Rt or left. Steering was very loose but has been tightened up with a replaced steering shock. But the steering wobble continues had the steering gear box replaced twice. Dealership does not know how to fix the problem.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story.
