After the air bag recall i went and had them do it and 3 days later is still coming on. Saying service air bag. And alot of people is having issues with tighen gas cap light. I have replaced everything it could be and still does it. Now i believe its a bigger problem and there is alot of ppl having the same issues. I dont remember the exact date either. This is the absolute worst vehicle ever.

I received a letter from GMC in June 2023 (14 months ago) notifying me of a safety recall on my 2016 GMC Acadia regarding front driver side airbag inflator. The letter said the inflator my rupture during deployment sending shrapnel (metal fragments) to the vehicle interior resulting in serious injury and/or death to the driver or other occupants. I have contacted a dealer for recall repair and was told there are NO replacement parts available and no date when they may be available. 8/2/2024 I contacted GMC regarding this recall issue and no parts. The representative said GMC has no date when parts may become available, that I would get a letter when parts are available. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND A KNOWN SAFETY HAZARD BY GMC.
