WHILE DRIVING ON 3 OCCASIONS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED ON ITS OWN UNEXPECTEDLY TO FIRST GEAR CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL DUE TO THE REAR WHEELS LOCKING UP. ON TWO OF THE OCCASIONS IT DISABLED THE VEHICLE AND REQUIRED REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE IS IN THE SHOP NOW GOING ON 3 MONTHS. *DT WHEN WE HEARD ABOUT HIM THE RECALL OF 1.5 MILLION TRUCKS WE FELT LIKE WE HAD A SOLUTION BUT FORD STATES THAT MY TRUCK IS NOT AFFECTED. MY COMPLAINT IN 06/2017 IS AN EXACT DESCRIPTION OF THE RECALL. I BELIEVE MY TRUCK IS AFFECTED. I HAVE NEARLY BEEN IN THREE ACCIDENTS STARTING WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN WARRANTY. I FEEL THE RECALL WILL ULTIMATELY AFFECT MORE VEHICLES....*BF.. *TR *DT*JB
