TAKATA RECALL: RECEIVED NOTICE APPROXIMATELY 6 MONTHS AGO. SAN FRANCISCO DEALER STILL DOES NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO CORRECT PROBLEM. I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND NO ONE CAN OR IS WILLING TO GIVE ME THAT ASSURANCE. SHOULD I NOT DRIVE IT?

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 2500. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 19V004000 (AIR BAGS) AND 16V077000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. MERCEDES-BENZ OF OMAHA (14335 HILLSDALE AVE, OMAHA, NE 68137, (402) 378-9048) WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT. *BF CONSUMER STATED PARTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPT. 2019.*JB
