The back up camera on my F350 froze the image on the screen as I was backing up, and I didn’t realize that I had backed into my daughter’s car. I ripped my fender off and wedged my tires up underneath her CRV there was no warning and I didn’t realize there was a recall on it because I hadn’t gotten anything in the mail. I did it my own driveway so I didn’t call the police and I haven’t turned on insurance yet. I wanted to see what I needed to do

This vehicle developed a fuel leak in the area of the top of the engine which resulted in a fire that destroyed the vehicle. I spoke to the Ford Motor Company and they said that there are no recalls or Technical Service Bulletins regarding this. I just wanted to make you aware of my experience so if anyone else experienced this it may show a pattern. Thank You

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-250. The contact stated while driving approximately 72 MPH going downhill, the instrument panel was failing where it would illuminate and unilluminated. There were fireballs being exhausted from the pipe. The fireballs caused a fire in the desert. Driving at highway speed going over a bridge and went over a expansion joint an out of no where the entire front end started to violently shake. I had to apply brakes which because it was shaking so bad the abs kicked in and started the wheels to skid. I was sure that the front wheels were coming off the truck. Still continues and ford has the truck now. No Warnings.

TRUCK IS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND RECENTLY SERVICED AT FORD DEALERSHIP. AFTER RECENT SERVICE THE TRUCK WOULDN'T START. WHEN THE TRUCK WAS CHECKED BOTH LARGE FACTORY INSTALLED BATTERIES HAD CATASTROPHIC FAILURE LEADING TO BATTERY ACID CORROSION DESTROYING WIRING, POTENTIAL THE THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND OTHER ELECTRONICS THAT WERE EXPOSED TO BATTERY ACID AND CORROSION. THERE IS TREMENDOUS DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK AND A LARGE CHEMICAL SPILL FROM THE ACID. DEALERSHIP QUOTED OVER $1800 IN DAMAGES. TRUCK WAS A FIRE AND CHEMICAL HAZARD BECAUSE THE FAILURE WAS HIDDEN BY A FACTORY COVER, A HUGE COPPER CABLE WAS FREE TO ARC AND COULD HAVE IGNITED THE BATTERY OR CAUSED A DANGEROUS ELECTICAL FIRE.

AFTER PLACING THE VEHICLE IN PARK I LEFT TO GO INTO A BUILDING. ON MY RETURN THE VEHICLE WAS GONE AND WAS FOUND DOWN THE BLOCK AND WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. IT APPARENTLY DROVE OFF ON IT'S OWN. VIDEO OF THE ACCIDENT CONFIRMED THAT NO ONE WAS DRIVING. AS THE DRIVER, I DID PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. THE PARKING BREAK WAS NOT APPLIED. THE ONLY CONCLUSION WAS THAT SOME HOW THE VEHICLE SLIPPED INTO GEAR.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Ford F-350 Super Crew verdict →
