The car has started just clicking when push button to crank it. It's getting worse day by day. I've had to set and just keep pushing button up to 30 min and it will eventually crank when it gets ready like nothing is wrong. I've googled it and seems every vehicle 2013-2017 is having the same bad starter problem around 40- 60,000 miles. There needs to be a recall because there's ppl already putting 4 and 5 starters on at this mileage and at $800 each it's ridiculous.

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the TPMS, VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), and the electric power steering warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the VSA modulator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.

In 2020, there was a recall (#20V769) on the driveshaft of the 2014 Honda Accord. The car was in the Midwest for 4 years, so I was concerned that the issue with corrosion could directly impact the vehicle due to weather conditions. I went to have the recall serviced, but still noticed the car to be sluggish upon shifting in to gear. I reported the concern to the Honda dealer to see if it was repaired correctly and to understand why it took time for the car to "switch" in to gear. After review, they said nothing was wrong with the car. I continued to have these issues, however every time I went to the Honda service team to get an oil repair the diagnosis report did not show any issues with the transmission. There was a recommendation to get the transmission oil changed, which I did in March 2023. The car will still sluggish after this service. On July 25, 2024 the cars transmission/ drive power disengaged in the middle of a busy road. The car came to a complete stop while moving. The gear shaft failed to engage with the transmission. Prior to this no transmission warning had ever triggered, nor reported by Honda's diagnosis reports. I again stated my concern that the driver shaft may not have been repaired correctly to Honda. They instead faulted that the wrong transmission fluid caused " Transmission is burnt up causing issue of not moving. Tech found transmission has wrong fluid installed which caused internal wear and failure of transmission parts." This statement is false. The car stopped on July 25. In an effort to problem solve the transmission fluid was drained and the incorrect fluid was used, but that was after the car was not shifting, so if the transmission was in fact burnt from the wrong fluid it was a result of the service in 2023. However, that is not the cause of the issue. I believe that failure to repair the drive shaft correct resulted in effects on the transmission that were either intentionally omitted or were not discovered.

In the dashboard, EPS (Electronic Power Steering), VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), ABS (Anti Lock Brake system), and BRAKE lights would turn on and off Intermittently. The lights could turn on starting the car in the morning or after driven for some time, for short period of time - 15 minutes to long period of time - 60 minutes. When these lights are on initially, a clank could be typically heard. When driven and slowed to around 10 MPH, the high-to-low whine could be heard. At low speeds, the car jerks on deaccelearation and acceleration. The car may be difficult to drive smoothly at low speeds. OBDII reader found no fault codes. Reports of other cars with simillar problem indicate issue with ABS module, wheel speed sensor, and/or battery.

Mechanic noted that drive shafts were corroded and unsafe and they were replaced. This appears to be the same issue as NHTSA RECALL NUMBER:20V-769, however, my VIN was not covered under this. I think this issue affects more than the accords with CVT transmissions in recall 20V-769. I bought this car and live in MA.

The driver side visor has flopped down and has needed to be replaced twice. It is very difficult to repair this yourself and I have had to do it twice. This is ridiculous. It’s a safety hazard because it won’t stay up in position and it won’t go towards the windshield either. I initially replaced this four years ago.

Im sure this issue has been mentioned multiple times, but it is a known issue that the honda accord's (2014 range models) ABS module circuit board have improperly sized wires that are soldered on the circuit board. This can cause a lot of issues especially when driving in the snow and/or rain since the ABS system is faulty. I have 2014 honda accord coupe. A days a go while driving local street my steering wheel lost control n vehicle stopped. On dash board it displayed sign with steering wheel n exclamation. When I reached thru honda manual it was the power steering torque sensor. This incident happened twice and both times as said in manual I turned off the car n it reseted itself. However I took it to my mechanic n he said that it's a power steering torque sensor failure. I read more online n there is a recall n extended Warrenty from Honda. Can you fix my car issue?

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord equipped with Michelin Tires, Tire Line: Defender, Tire Size: 215/55/R17, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated while driving and exceeding 25 MPH, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the tires. The contact took the vehicle to a local tire dealer, and upon inspection it was discovered that the tires were dry rotted. The tires were taken to a local dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. Additionally, the dealer refused to repair or replace the tires but instead advised the contact to purchase a new set of tires. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 72,000. The vehicle failure mileage was unknown.

Car has bad battery sensors. When checking the battery status, it always says the battery is in good condition but it is actually dead. The car also consistently puts out a code "P219A." Dealership suggest that fuel injectors are going bad but the fuel injectors shouldn't go bad this early.

I purchased this vehicle new, it has only 70,000 miles. Recently the dashboard lights lit up with a message that the forward collision warning system failed. I pulled over as soon as I could and began looking this up. First, I wanted to learn if it was safe to drive the car home or if I needed to have the car towed to a dealer. When I restarted the car thirty minutes later the warning lights were off. I got the car home and used an inexpensive OBD reader to check for codes, none showed up. Later I took the car to a mechanic and his professional scanner found codes 81-19 and 81-20. There are many stories on youtube about the VSA/ABS module failing.

I purchased this vehicle in January 2024. I've had to change the oils three times since then. This car is using an extreme amount of oil and it's not leaking anywhere. Today one month from my last oil change the car said it had a 30 percent oil life. I scheduled an appointment for this Tuesday but when my husband got home from work he said it sounded terrible. So this morning I get up and take it to my local Walmart for a full synthetic oil change and guess what? There was NO OIL in the car. 30 days after the last oil change and there is absolutely no oil in this car. Where is it going? After reading several sites I see this is a VERY common problem in this model year. The car hasn't even been driven 3000 miles in a month and it's out of oil? What am I suppose to do?

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving 65-70 MPH over the connecting point between the road and a bridge, the vehicle jolted to the right and jerked. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that after pulling into his driveway, the TPMS, the power steering and the acceleration warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with acceleration sensor and Yaw rate sensor failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 190,000.

There is known issue with the ABS Modulator with this gen Honda Accord. I believe the affected years are 2013-2017. The selenoid for the ABS module goes bad and the light in the attached photo comes on. Basically, the soldering for the tinny modulator wires comes off. Honda sells the at for $2300 These was a class action for the similar issue in Thailand and Honda had to repair all the affected vehicles at no charge. [XXX] Also, it's so common that people on ebay service these selenoids and solder the wires. I think you guys need to step up and put some pressure on Honda and have them honor the service to the affected customer without extra charge.
