The contact owns a 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving approximately 20 MPH, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was parked; however, upon inspecting the exterior of the vehicle, the contact became aware that the panoramic sunroof had unexpectedly fractured. The contact stated that there were no nearby vehicles nor object to impact the sunroof to cause it to fracture. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the panoramic sunroof needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the panoramic sunroof had fractured from an impact. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired. The contact stated that the failure was a known failure with the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 10,200. The VIN was unavailable.
