At about 5000 miles the car began a slight clicking noise after turning left. When the wheel was straightening out. As time progressed it started happening both left and right turns and the noise got louder. Honda dealer said that was normal without looking at it. How is a loud clicking noise normal on a car with under 7000 miles. Trying to get axles replaced but they are denying the repair as it’s just loud and noisy. The wheel also has a slight vibration now.

While making the turns (either side left or right or u turns ) it makes tik tik loud sound at both wheels. Took the vehicle to Honda dealership they said it’s known issue can’t be fixed until the Honda company fixes the issue. I am reporting multiple safety-related failures with my 2025 Honda Prologue. The vehicle has an unresolved drivetrain/axle defect that affects safe operation, and the dealer has stated that axle components are on backorder with no repair timeline. In addition, the main vehicle control screen completely blacked out and will not turn back on. This screen controls critical vehicle and charging functions. Without it, I cannot control charging or access essential vehicle systems, rendering the vehicle unsafe and effectively unusable. Further, the charging port sensor failed to alert me that the charging port was open. Because no warning was provided, the port remained open and subsequently broke. This represents a failure of a safety-related sensor system that directly impacts the vehicle’s ability to charge and operate properly. The dealer has not provided a loaner vehicle or alternative transportation despite the vehicle being unsafe to operate. These combined defects substantially impair the safety, use, and value of the vehicle.

When accelerating and turning left or right at the same time there is a severe clicking sound coming from the CV Joints sounds like they are cracked. This started to happen at 3500 miles. Brought it into the Honda dealership Service Department and they said it was a known issue and there was not a fix. Contrary to the research that I have done about this issue and Honda has been replacing these with a so-called new part number that fixes the issue. I am concerned because when turning and accelerating the stability of the vehicle does not feel safe.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2025 Honda Prologue EV verdict →
