My sunroof on my 2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veroce spontaneously burst as I was driving about 40 mph. Nothing nearby or overhead. It was a loud cracking sound that was startling like a gunshot. Luckily, I had the mesh screen pulled shut so no glass fell on me. I pulled over within a mile to check the damage and take pictures. There was no point of impact as the glass was shattered all around the edge of the seal but still intact in the middle. The dealership said they would fix it as a goodwill gesture but that it wasn't covered under warranty. My new sunroof was to be here in 45 days. I have been waiting 56 days as of this writing. They have not called me since they ordered the part which has me worried and prompted me to report this incident.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale verdict →
