The car was taken to Day's Chev in Jasper Georgia on Nov 11 for forward collision system and they checked it and could not duplicate the problem and during this time after I have gotten the car back I have noticed the adaptive cruise does not slow down when you are coming up on a car . This is very dangerous.

On [XXX] on a trip to Florida a light came on my instrument cluster that the forward collision and the side blind spot mirror's were inoperable. [XXX] on the way back from Florida after the car being parked a week I was going up [XXX] and a car swerved in front of me and I almost hit it. This system had been working fine up until this time. After getting back on [XXX] OnStar notified me that my right front tire was going flat and it wasn't. On [XXX] OnStar 4g network flashed under the informant system. On [XXX] 2024 I had brake when deer ahead in the road with no warning lights or sounds going off. This car was provided by general motors as a replacement for a 2023 Malibu that was having some of these similar problems with. I contacted Day's Chev in Jasper Georgia on Oct 15 2024 about an appointment for this car and it's going to be on Nov 11 2024. I rented this 2024 Chevrolet Malibu from Enterprise Rent A Car in Union City, GA. While driving the vehicle on the highway early on [XXX] a vehicle came to a complete stop and in front of the vehicle directly in front of me. This action almost caused a multi-car pile-up. I immediately engaged the brakes. I was met with force and pressed down as hard as I could to stop the vehicle. The brakes on this vehicle failed to function properly. This caused me to crash into another vehicle. I have no information regarding maintenance and inspection of the vehicle at this time. How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2024 Chevrolet Malibu verdict →
