Parking brake would not hold vehicle on hill. When the handle was released, a metalic clinking noise was heard. Castle rock jeep dealership said all was fine. Upon my inspection, I found the parking brake cable connection under teh center console was no longer connected. The cable was reconnected, and the cable was tightened to specifications indicated my Jeep. THe vehicle had 6200 miles on it. p.s. THis was after the warranty replacement of the engine. THe dealership indicated they tested several other jeeps and they all acted as mine. No concern for safety.

The vehicle does not have linerar acceperation. At times from a start, cold or warn engine, the vehicle will abruptly accelerate harder than the gas pedal was pressed. at light throttle, the vehicle will surge, shutter or chug. Erattic acceperation. after the engine replacement for a connecting rod bearing failure, the engine was running rough, poor mileage and stalled on a wet and cold morning (32degrees, raining). The stall happened on the deaccel lane of the interstate 25 (65 mph). THe dealership replaced one injector and said the problem was fixed. But it is not. Vehicle has not stalled, but we have not had the cold/wet weather.

The vehicle suffered a catastrophic, systemic high-speed CAN C data bus loop collapse (Diagnostic Trouble Code U0002-00 "Bus Off"), resulting in an immediate, total loss of communication across almost all primary factory control modules—including the Body Control Module (BCM), Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Transmission Control Module (TCM), and ABS gateway. The vehicle is completely immobilized. This specific network data loop shares an exact architectural footprint and physical circuit link with the high-current electrical defects targeted under active, open Federal Safety Recall Campaign 21D (NHTSA Campaign 21V-363) for this VIN. The franchise dealership (Jacksonville CJDR) is actively using cosmetic visual framing of secondary aftermarket accessories to avoid executing baseline electrical isolation of this factory defect. Furthermore, the facility is demanding a predatory, upfront out-of-pocket retail diagnostic fee of $1,188.15 "to start" before they will address the network crash. This extortionate pricing barrier is being used to actively block a consumer from accessing a mandatory federal safety campaign remedy on a compromised, high-risk circuit. Official factory wiTECH 2 diagnostic screenshots confirming the complete vehicle network blackout are attached to this file.

Jeep Death Wobble. Going 60, hit a bump and then the entire front end of Jeep started jumping back and forth so badly, I thought the Jeep was coming completely apart and I was going to crash. Applying the brakes didn't help, the steering seemed out of control, I was terrified and felt like I was going to lose going to lose control of the vehicle or crash into an oncoming vehicle! Thank God I didn't! I just had to wait till the vehicle slowed down and it eventually it stopped. This is now the 3rd time it happened in the passed week.

My 2023 Gladiator currently has 36,000 miles and is experiencing severe front-end vibration commonly referred to as “death wobble.” The issue occurs at approximately 60 mph when hitting a bump on the highway, causing the steering wheel and front end to shake violently. I have scheduled an appointment with an authorized Jeep dealer for inspection. This condition has nearly caused an accident, as I was traveling on a busy highway and had to slow down abruptly and pull over to regain control. There are no warning lights, messages, or other noticeable symptoms.

Cut off on me while driving. Loss power in middle of street almost cause me to hit another vehicle. Took it to repair under warranty they took almost 2 months to repair. Did some research and apparently this is a common issue on these trucks ans it is still not a recall about it. Dealership replaced same fuel injection pump it had. So basically it will happen again sometime soon. My vehicle only has 17k miles.

I purchased this vehicle April 2025 from Hollywood Motors LLC in Columbus OH. I noticed recently the vehicle had some frame damage after getting alignment, Also the airbag warning lights were coming on. Took the vehicle to a very reputable frame shop and they thoroughly investigated and found there that the drivers side frame rail i pushed back significantly. Also recently noticed the steering wheel adjustment is does not work. I purchased AS IS but I got confirmation in writing from dealer that he guarantees there is no frame damage and the vehicle is safe. This is false information and I would like to return the vehicle or dealer pays for it to be fixed.

While on a trip from South Texas to Northeast Texas on the interstate highway system we hit a moderate bump and the front wheels and steering wheel experienced a very violent vibration. The vibration would not stop until I slowed from 75 mph to approximately 35 mph. This happened to me twice in my Jeep JL Wrangler which I reported under complaint number 11685327. Since the three incidents I have looked into the issue on the internet and it is abuzz with Jeep owners and claims of a "death wobble" in the steering system. It appears there was a previous lawsuit in which the manufacturer was not found at fault but this problem persists based on the internet traffic I've seen and the number of products being offered, by after market companies, to correct this issue. Thank you...

I used the 4 wheel drive and received message that clutch was hot, then received message to service transmission. Vehicle went into limp mode. Drove at speeds of 35 to 40 miles an hour. 50 miles an hour down hill. Had to drive access roads because [XXX] traffic is 75 miles per hour. Several times speed was even slower. Took it to brown dodge in Devine. The reset system and said I could not use 4x4. Referenced star code s2521000001. I took vehicle in 7/13/25. I wonder if they even previously preformed recall 19a clutch on This manual transmission. Purchased Mojave Jan/2023, recalled received 4/23. Recall repaired 6/24. On 15000 miles on it and the first time I use 4x4 the vehicle became useless and barely able to move. I wonder if software upgrade for 19a really fixed the 19a issue or just was a bandage to buy more time. I have purchased several Chrysler products and the manufacturer lack of addressing the issues is concerning. I’m [XXX] this is the first time I had to file a complaint. Not knowing when they will address the problem on a vehicle I purchased to enjoy my retirement is sad INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The vehicle was being driven on a 4 mile stretch of interstate 26 averaging between 65 and 70 MPH. On the steepest section of the grade the vehicle downshifted into 7th gear and began to lose power. It showed a check engine light and other codes which are attached. I was able to safely pull over to the shoulder but the vehicle lacked power and pulling over and maneuvering on a steep grade was precarious. I received an alert from the Jeep mobile app on my phone shortly after instructing me to take my car to schedule an appointment now. I was able to use a scanner application JScan to clear the code and was able to return home without further incident. I investigated the code that was provided by JScan “P00AF” and discovered that numerous owners had experienced the same situation across all lines of vehicles that use the Gen 3 Ecodiesel. I counted 37 separate reports while using Google in 15 minutes of searching. This is a serious safety issue as I was traveling at interstate speeds uphill and went from 65-70 mph down to a slow rate of travel in a matter of seconds and to my knowledge no brake lights illuminated as cars were changing lanes behind me rapidly due to my sudden decrease in speed. It appears likely to be a programming or electrical malfunction with the turbo wastegate actuator and corresponding sensors that is not indicative of an actual turbo or wastegate actuator failure. If the computer algorithm is using barometric pressure for pairing boost set point and actual boost based on residual data that is not updated in real time, when ascending steep grades and gaining hundreds of feet in elevation over a short duration, air pressure values could potentially be skewed resulting in a mismatch in actual versus expected turbo boost output. My vehicle had only been running for 12-14 minutes as I live at the base of a large mountain and left home and began my ascent within 10 minutes. Therefore my oil and engine temperature were not elevated.

On [XXX], I purchased a 2023 Jeep Gladiator from Lakeland Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram in Lakeland, Florida. At the time of purchase. I purchased a 36K/3 Year Bumper to Bumper warranty on the vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that several lights would come on in the vehicle. So I took the vehicle to the shop. The vehicle was taken to Posner Park Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep , RAM. A diagnostic test was completed, and they informed me that the airbags were inoperable, and the harnesses were sliced. The front door lock was also not working as well as other items. There was no way for me to know that the airbags were in that type of shape when I purchased the vehicle. I contacted Lakeland Jeep and spoke to about 5 managers as well as my salesperson Kyle. Justin Purdy asked me to forward the paperwork to his email and ii did do so. The problem is that I was sold a vehicle that was unsafe, and I purchased a warranty to cover the cost of the repairs. No one from Lakeland Jeep has contacted me back about this situation. I have spent $2,600 in repairs that I should not have had to pay. I am filing this complaint because this is not the proper way to deal with customers. I going to take the appropriate actions against this dealership starting today. I should not have had to pay this amount of money for these repairs. The warranty did not cover the repairs. The dealership should have made sure the vehicle was inspected prior to selling this vehicle to me. I have pictures of the vehicle prior to purchase that was on the dealership’s website. I have screen shots of the vehicle. I have my bill of sale which contains the warranty that was purchased. This is unfair and unethical. I am not happy about how I have been treated and I am not happy with the fact that I was driving a vehicle without all the safety equipment in place. This version of the jeep has two batteries, a main and auxiliary. The auxiliary battery is used to power the cpus and such. Tens of thousands of Jeep owners have to disable this aux battery. This is due to both batteries not being charged and charged in a way that destroys both batteries. The cause of this is an engineering fault. Two batteries in parallel as in this case MUST be that same voltage and chemistry. Jeep has engineered the process to allow the aux battery to run down independent of the main. This unbalanced electrical situation destroys both batteries. Jeep will do nothing about it, the mechanics are in denial about it and can only return the vehicle back to it's defective state.
