The vehicles check engine light has come on. I have had it to the dealership several times. I spent a large amount of money to have the fuel injectors replaced. Not fixed. The dealership has told me they have had 3 others in with the same problem and haven’t been able to fix it. Now my vehicle is out of warranty so I have to pay for all the repairs. I have had to e vehicle stall 4 times now in traffic.

Along with the two recalls of which I have not been contacted by Hyundai or provided any form of remedy, this is highly concerning and makes me feel extremely unsafe driving my vehicle, especially with the fact that I have small children and teenagers. My car had an issue from inception that I’ve let the dealer know about that. They still have not fixed including the fact that well I’ll be driving on certain roads are on the highway. It’ll come up with a warning telling me that I’m going the wrong way and try to engage the automatic breaking system. In addition, the second row seatbelt has been stuck and it won’t go back in. The third row seats often times try to disengage and come down. Anytime I hit a small bump or go over a speed bump even very slow. My Bluetooth goes off-line as well as the Navigation and then it comes back online within 3 to 5 minutes. Carr seems to have had a number of odd issues, including the way the engine has sounded as well as the electrical system is not engaging properly. I feel highly unsafe continuing to drive this vehicle and until all recalls and full proper analysis is conducted to remedy these issues I would want Either a full refund of the cash value that I purchased my vehicle for, a brand new vehicle at no additional charge, or a loaner vehicle until all of these issues are remedied, and then a full analysis to ensure that it meets the standards. My preference would be to get a full refund of the cash value in which I purchased my vehicle for so I can get something else that is more safe for my family.

The vehicle engine shuts off out of nowhere, unable to change/switch between gears for 2-3 minutes after stopping at a red light, stop sign, or during heavy traffic, with no activation of the Idle-stop-system before the incident. During the incident, the vehicle's steering was not able to turn. I have to keep my foot on the brake pedal for a while. After the second incident, I managed to drive the vehicle carefully and slowly to the dealership, but I was told there was no problem with the vehicle. So, I requested to take a drive with a mechanic, and the engine shut off in the middle of the street while slowing down for the third time. The dashboard reads "Auto stop is off." Shift to P or N and start engine manually. vehicle still at the dealership for 5 days.

I was stopped at a stop sign with my foot firmly on the brake and vehicles engine starting revving. Next was stopped at my mailbox with the foot firmly on the brake and engine started revving again. Next, I was pulling into my garage and had just taken my foot off of the brake and engine revved again, this time propelling me into my garage wall. I have a video of the car pulling into the garage and you can hear the car accelerate.

On [XXX] the engine light went on my 2023 Hyundai palisade SUV. Immediately I drove over the Hyundai dealership to try to find out what the problem was. On my way there, the light remained on, and the car kept making movements as if it was going to turn off, I could barely make the speed increase as I was driving. I went to Healey Hyundai located at 794 Route 52 Fishkill Ny 12524 phone number 845 831 1090 . In spite, the car light on and the issues they refused to attend the car and asked me to go back Monday morning, which I did , same issued on my way there, and I arrived there with the engine light on , service advisor Rasheena M Dyer , took the car, saw the light on, took pictures and asked me to wait for the mechanic to review the car. After two hours the service advisor, said “ there’s nothing we could do, or anything could do, the car is misfiring and anything could be causing the car to misfired, the mechanic don’t see the light right now, therefore, we can’t diagnose anything, but the car is misfiring “. I replied:” my car is under 50,000 miles and under manufacturer warranty, can you give me a rental, while you fixed the engine problem, I have 5 children , how can I drive around with my kids with an engine light on and the issues is giving me”, she replied: we won’t give you a rental because we don’t know what the problem is , ( although they know and said the car motor is misfiring )unless you pay $200 dollars . They sent me away with the engine light on, and the car making sounds and movements as if is going to go off anytime . Hyundai refused to help me although the engine lights are on and my car is still under warranty. I took the car that same day to Monro auto service at 64 north plank road ,Newburgh Ny 12550, and the checked the car and confirmed that there’s nothing wrong with the oil, or filters as the dealership try to implied , is an engine-firing problem that again, Hyundai dealership refuses to fix. The first time this happened I was at a light waiting for it to turn green. My car went into a shutdown mode and gave me a message of " Auto Stop is Off. Shift to P or N Start Engine Manually". I tried repeatedly to restart the car after putting it into park, but it wouldn't respond. Finally, after 5 minutes of sitting blocking traffic, the engine started, and I drove away. This has now been happening off and on for 3 days. I cannot be stranded in a 50 mile an hour zone blocking traffic. It's an accident waiting to happen. After doing some research online I discovered this has been happening to Hyundai vehicles of different models for over 8 years! Why has Hyundai not recalled this? I think it's a manipulation to force you into one of their shops. I contacted several Hyundai dealerships to speak with someone who knows of this issue. One service manager told me it sounds like it needs a computer update. I ask the cost, and he said $260 and that does not guarantee it will fix the problem.

In Snow Mode, I was at a complete stop and then pushed on the gas pedal to go, the car did not accelerate. I pumped the pedal, still nothing. The car moved slowly like it was in neutral, but would not accelerate. I was trying to turn left at an intersection, it was very scary. I could have gotten rear ended or T-boned. The car finally moved when I changed the driving mode to Smart Mode. The exact scenario has happened several times to me and my husband when driving in snow mode. It happens from a full stop.

[XXX] at [XXX] (Palisade was in SMART mode). I made a U-Turn and coming out of the turn I stepped in the gas and nothing happened; however, the engine was racing and held steady at 3,000 RPMs. The vehicle did NOT respond after multiple attempts at stepping on the gas pedal or simply stepping off the gas pedal - the engine/transmission was racing loud at 3,000 RPMs for about 7-10 seconds until the vehicle corrected itself. This is obviously a safety issue since I had no ability to accelerate and could have been rear-ended. I went to AutoZone and ran OBD diagnostics and nothing showed up. I then made appt at Dealership with the description above and they recorded the incident as "a hesitation issue", then said it was due to the Auto-Start being on! WHAT!? I was not happy and made them read the description AGAIN and now writing this NHTSA safety issue. I feel like they purposely mis-recorded the issue and tried to send me on my way. Within the first month after the purchase in late August 2022, the car would shake when turning onto road. Depressing the gas peddle did nothing. The speedometer would not go over 20 mph, but the car was not moving, only coasting. The RPM would jump to over 3000 RPM. Again, the car is not moving, only coasting. There was no engine noise, only the sound of the gas pedal hitting the floor. Subsequent pumps of the gas peddle did nothing, but about 20-30 seconds of this behavior, the car would start to kick into Drive. There were no instrument panel alarms, warnings, or lights. By October 2022, the problem occurred every time I drove the car first thing after it had been off for several hours. For the rest of Fall, Winter, and Spring with temperatures under 30 degrees, this problem would occur. I have to use one of 2 highways to leave my home. Both highways were dangerous for this problem. I had to wait for no traffic as far as I could see, but with coasting speeds and no control, it didn't take long for traffic to catch up. In some cases, after a turn onto a highway or 2-lane busy street, there was no where to coast off the road. I used hazard lights a lot, but it was clear that the danger was significant. The third cold weather season is coming soon. The problem will most certainly occur has it has every year since we purchased it. The problem seems to occur at intersections where this is a greater than 5% grade. It does not occur on a flat grade. The dealer tells us that unless their diagnostic equipment from Hyundai USA cannot detect a problem, then they cannot do a repair. Even though the technicians witnessed the problem away from the dealership, they cannot make it fail at the dealership. They want to keep the car for days or weeks, but we've been through this and I turned them down. Hyundai USA keeps telling me to file a claim, which I did. To date, I have not received any further correspondence since I filed it.

Major safety concern with vehicle stalling, having no power, not moving mainly in Snow Mode. The first month of purchase the car stalled, had no power, would not move in Comfort Mode. My Husband was driving and I thought it was a weird fluke or something. Then it happened driving up the hill to our house several times over the past year. That was annoying enough and THEN it snowed last week, roads were snow packed and icy. I was headed to work, had car in snow mode, attempted to pull out into traffic (thankfully with a whole lot of room between me and oncoming traffic!) and the car would NOT move. It literally stalled/lagged and would not go. I was almost read ended on a highway!!! This is not ok! I took the Palisade into the Dealership to look at/test and they "could not get it to replicate the issue". I also submitted a complaint to Hyundai Corporate, and after speaking with a Case Manager several times over the phone and via email - including sending them recorded video documentation of the issues, Hyundai determined that they would do nothing about this and would not even purchase the vehicle back. They could care less that a vehicle they produced is causing major safety issues for the public. I am beyond irate! We way overpaid for this car ("high demand" at the time of purchase) - $15,000 down, and because Hyundai does not care about their product, we just traded the vehicle in to get rid of it and had to pay an additional $7,000 out of pocket. There are literally NO WORDS!!! My families safety is worth more than the money we lost out on with that awful vehicle.

This incident occured on 4-2-2024, while driving to the doctor with my newborn daughter. Our 2023 Hyundai Palisade Limited did not respond/accelerate/move when pressing on the gas pedal. The engine/transmission seemed to malfunction when trying to pull off from a green traffic light. There was loss of power and the palisade would not move. This vehicle was purchased brand new and it is a serious safety concern that the vehicle can malfunction when attempting to accelerate.

HYUNDAI PALISADE 2023 ENGINE STALLING / WON'T ACCELERATE IN SNOW/ICY ROADS. I have now experienced this engine stalling issue several time on my Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy 2023. It has only happened in "snow mode" so far. The car basically dies, no acceleration, no matter how hard you accelerate or floor it. I called the dealership named "Great Lakes Hyundai" in Dublin, Ohio and they said they basically can't do anything since this issue is intermittent. I will be filling a complaint with NHTSA and other state and regulatory agencies. Hyundai needs to fix this issue before people start dying on the snowy/icy roads. These are expensive cars and should not be dying on the roads like this, plus this is a very dangerous situation where the car just dies and does not respond to acceleration. No warning lights of any kind display on the dashboard. You put car in "ECO Mode", it starts driving. The car never lose traction when this issue occurs. Doing some research online, seems like lots of other Hyundai palisade and kia telluride owners are experiencing this issue and Hyundai/kia are not doing anything to remedy this issue. When startin ghte engine of my new 2023 at any temp below 40 degrees there is a loud squeal. Dealer claimed it was the Serpentine belt pre-tensioner. It was not. Many Many Telluride and Palasadie owners have this issue on the forums. Persists every single cold start below 40 for about 10 seconds.

Vehicle loses power during driving and unable to accelerate further. It slows down by itself and nearly stops on the highway. This has happened at least three times and almost caused an accident. Took it to a Hyundai dealership and was told it was fixed just to experience a similar problem the next day. They gave me a rental Hyundai Santa Fe and I experienced the same issue with loss of acceleration power and vehicle slowly down despite trying to accelerate.

When starting the vehicle, the engine will not fully start, it will turn over as if it’s out of gas. Canceling the start process, then retrying usually results in a running engine. As of October 5’th, my vehicle is not currently you on the fuel pump recall, but this issues seems like a fuel pump issue.

On three separate occasions while driving the car has shut off while driving. The car and dashboard completely shut off, as well as the radio. This is while driving! The car was in drive and then just shut off with no warning or indication. I've taken the car to be seen by a Hyundai Mechanic and the car had a starter replacement. Yet, the issue has continued. This has put my safety and the safety of others at risk as the car cuts off mid-traffic. I am no longer able to brake or accelerate. The check-ESC message comes up when attempting to restart, but there is no warning or indication that comes on before the vehicle completely shuts down. I feel extremely unsafe. The dealership says it is hard to see codes because this happens mid-drive. Multiple Hyundai Owners, specifically 2023 Palisade Model owners have posted and reported this issue to corporate.

My wife was merging on a freeway overpass and slammed her foot into the gas peddle for a few seconds to accelerate for the merging. Her speed of travel was around 75MPH when she put her foot into it. After reaching around 82MPH she released the gas peddle for the merger. The auto's RMP shot up to around 5K and maintained the high rpm for around 5-6 sec after she released the peddle. During these few seconds the car maintained the high rate of speed and the motor was very loud. My wife pumped the gas peddle twice in rapid succession and the RPM's the wend back down and the car returned to its normal operation. Questions from above: The component was the engine: A loud revving sound and indicated by the tac hitting 5K RPM after the the gas petal was released. This was the first indecent and if repeated, we will file another report. It has not been reported to or confirmed by any dealer or independent service center. The component has not been inspected. Due to this being the first occurrence the exact competent causing the issue would be unknown. There were not warning lamps, messages or other symptoms prior or post issue.

1. A. Dashboard digital display fades to black. Inability to see speed, meters, gauges, and malfunction graphics on the instrument cluster display. B. When phone charging through console USB port, the entire center console heats up excessively and smells like burning plastic; wiring. Stopped using center USB port to eliminate issue. C. When car put into Drive or Reverse from Park, loud clunking lurch occurs. When stopped at light and the stop idle engaged, the car lurches and makes loud clunking noise. Transmission seems to shift erratically. Turn the stop idle function off every time to avoid issue. 2. A. Dash display going black on highway is a huge safety risk not being able to see any important meters; gauges; warning graphics. The last time it occurred on the freeway going through Camp Pendleton and was frightening. It did come back on once I exited freeway. B. The console heating up was unsafe since it burned my hands to the touch. The sides and underneath area were all excessively heated and the burnt smell was an indication something electrically was malfunctioning. I stopped using the USB port on the console however, that does not eliminate the fact of some sort of electronic defect. C. There is something malfunctioning with the transmission shifting erratically and the stop idle defect. 3. Auto Nation Carlsbad Hyundai service could not duplicate issues driving locally or find any codes showing malfunctions. There is a recall that does not have a remedy that may be affecting the circuitry control system. I do not want to drive the vehicle and feel it's unsafe. 4. I have reported the issue to Hyundai Customer Care. There is a case on it. However, it's been two weeks with no response. Probably overwhelmed. They are very courteous and the General Manager at Carlsbad Hyundai dealer has been helpful providing a loaner. 5. No warning lights. Just fade to black. Increases on freeway after 45 min driving high speed.

First issue was engine misfire and loss of power while on the highway in the middle of no where. Car eventually died and was restarted. It happened twice at around 1700 miles on the odometer. Second issue is when the rear panoramic sunroof spontaneously exploded. I’m very thankful my daughter was not in the rear seat, as this happened while driving normal speeds. Sounded like gun shot. The sunroof spontaneously combusting seems to be a problem dating back to 2018 according to other reports online. Mine is a 2023.

Car only has 1400 miles on it and is brand new. The engine for the car wont start when utilizing the push button within the car or app. The engine will only start by using the key fob. Initially we thought it was the battery, but after being able to turn the car on from the key fob, it was confirmed it was not the battery. Additionally, the car will randomly shut off when it is on. You can be driving the car and it will just shut off. The dealer service group upon initial drop off said they had never seen this before, but then they said it might relate to the push button and push transmission gears on the car, as they had seen this before on some of the newer hyundai models, just never the Palisade. They made it sound like the technology that is behind the push transmission and push button start is the same, and that is where the problem lies.
