My wife was t-boned in the passenger door. No airbags deployed nor did the seat belts lock up. I got a notification saying "the restraints control module has indicated the occupant classification system is present but not configured." The side curtain airbags did not deploy causing my wife and my 9 year old son to hit their heads on their windows.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2022 Ford Maverick Hev Hev verdict →
