My rear reverse lights and light bar are full of water, there was a recall on this model vehicle to address this issue but my vehicle wasn't part of that recall even though the light bar is the same part number. The reverse lights are full of water and cause the reverse lights to flicker or not turn on at all.

Rear driver-side blinker light failed due to microscopic breaks in the light. It eventually allowed moisture to occur in the light causing a failure in the lights. It has been a known issue on the F150 Lightning vehicle with the rear lamp bar and based on many other vehicle owner accounts it is also an issue with the rear taillights.

The running lights went out on the front passenger side. These are LED lights and should last longer than 60k miles. These can’t be repaired and have to be replaced. I got quoted $1,650 without labor for one.

The passenger side rear tail light assembly (with built in blind spot unit) has noticeable condensation in the unit. This has intermittently caused a hyper blink situation with use of hazards and directionals, as well as causing the lamp assembly to not function at all creating a lighting and safety hazard. I have had this evaluated by the dealer, and was quoted $2,453 for a new light assembly that is not even three years old. On the [XXX] forum, there are numerous other owners that have had the same issue on either or both tail lamp assemblies. The rear tail light bar and back up light has moisture in it. It no longer works, the back up light also does not work. This is a known defect and there is a recall for this issue on many Ford Lightning pickups. For some reason my truck is not included in the recall. The vehicle is available for inspection. I have no illumination when backing up, I feel this is an unsafe condition. The dealer has confirmed there is moisture in the tail light bar. No other entity has inspected the vehicle. I first noticed the problem when after putting the truck in reverse at night I could not see behind me while backing up.

I am constantly receiving error messages that pop up while driving telling me that there is a headlight system malfunction. I have also had adaptive cruise control lane. Keep assist and associated features.Uh pop up as error warnings. My headlights are cornering headlights while driving. They have failed by moving to the downward and inward position and stayed in that position, significantly reducing my visibility. My alarm constantly goes off for no reason. While driving, the speaker system makes a very loud noise. That almost sounds like a gunshot.Hitting the windshield, which is extremely frightening and will cause you to jerk in response. I have taken this back to the dealership five times trying to get this diagnosed, and it still cannot be fixed. I have asked that this be considered a lemon. Due to covid, my diagnostic time was pushed back beyond the one year mark, so I was not able to get the first diagnosis until after mao one year of owning the vehicle.

This complaint is concerning the recall 22C22 for the 2022 Ford F150 park lamps flickering, I took my vehicle in for service to get this recall performed because the recall was open, when I picked up my vehicle I was told that the recall had just been put on hold by Ford, this was around August 15, 2024. I was also told that I would be contacted by them, the dealership/service advisor when the recall was open again, this has not happened, its been several weeks and I have not heard anything back, I have called Ford and also done a live chat with them over my Ford Pass app and still have no answers. The park lamps continue to flicker to the point that one of the headlights is beginning to fail, the LED DRL are very dim or just don't light up at all anymore, these are the same lights that flicker so much and so often that they look like strobe lights, Ford is saying that this is unrelated which I firmly believe it's not accurate, the excessive flickering very likely caused the lights to fail. Now they want me to take it in to them and get it diagnosed and to replace the headlight assembly which cost well over $1200 dollars just for the part. They have failed to address the actual cause of the problem to begin with. LED park lamps should not fail on a 2 year old vehicle, in most cases LED light should last years and possibly even the life of the vehicle. I am a Master Technician for a major automotive brand and also ASE certified with over 30 years of experience and I firmly believe that the flickering will continue to damage the headlights on these vehicles.

Since I have purchased the 2022 Ford F-150 I have had several incidents where the cruise control has set itself. A couple incidents have resulted in me slamming on the brakes to avoid collision. I have taken it to the dealer a few times and they have replaced everything that has to do with the cruise control and it still sets itself from time to time but it's sporadic. The dash lights/instrument cluster has went completely out 2-3 time and came back on. When it does come back on the drive mode disabled light is on and I can't change the drive modes. The entertainment/map screen has froze up several time. The map will freeze and I can't change the music or do anything on the screen.

For lighting, model came with the quad beam and headlight would often malfunction leaving headlights stuck in the low position and high beams not usable. For power train, the 10 speed would cause sharp jolts and shifts that is not normal for regular driving. Very abrupt jolts that make operating vehicle unsafe to drive in traffic. Vehicle began experiencing these symptoms around 25k miles and dealership mentions these issues aren’t a big problem.
