This is a safety issue for not only me and my family but others on the road as well. If the gas pedal was to fully stop working the truck would be stuck and could cause an accident. The dealer told me they could not reproduce the concern, but they did suggest to replace a temp sensor and reprogram PCM which I paid for, the cost was $870.90

My vehicle suffers from insufficient fuel flow and I'm afraid of losing power or the motor stopping completely at freeway speeds in heavy traffic with little or no shoulder. The clear solution would be to replace the fuel pump. How can Ford be allowed after almost five months to have not fixed the problem? The fuel pump problem is beyond a reasonable amount of time to take corrective action. The local dealership has not seen a Ford remedy for the problem and I've complained twice about the pump on my vehicle. The dealership hopes to see a remedy each month. I would appreciate a response from The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on this very serious safety recall. When I get this fault, the truck operates only on gas power and does not use any electric motor power. I go from ~21 mpg highway (which is lower than when new) to ~18 mph highway.
