9/17 driving home. Light rain. Put the truck in slippery mode prior to starting my drive. Truck was actually slipping and seemed to be shutting off and on. Prior to me being able to pull off to the side of the road, the truck stalled and spinned out across five lanes slamming into the barrier.

I recently ought a 2022 Ford F-150 off of a private seller. It had a clean Carfax when I bought it. About a month after I bought the truck, on July 24, 2025, the following warning lights appeared on my dash all on the same day. Blind Spot Assist Not Available, Cross Traffic Assist Not Available, and Reverse Brake Assist Not Available. Also, my drivers side window would not roll down, and my drivers side lock/unlock buttons would not work. There were not any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. So I took my truck into Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, FL. on July 25, 2025 and they came back with the file I have uploaded below with the diagnosis and estimate. Of course the warranty has just expired a few months ago. We tried to make a claim with our insurance company and that was denied. I have also reached out to Ford Customer Service and they refused to help in any way. We were also never offered a loaner vehicle and my truck has been at the dealership for three weeks now. I am currently Active Duty Military and this is now effecting my ability to report for duty, and causing my leadership to question me. It is also effecting my family as we now only have one vehicle. As you can see in the link below, the estimate is quite high. and it is extremely frustrating that Ford has refused to help in any way, and will not provide any logical reason as to why except that the warranty is expired. Especially since this isn't my fault at all. Any help in rectifying this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway and attempting to start the vehicle, the brake pedal was pumped approximately four times and the contact pressed the push-to-start button, but the vehicle failed to start. Additionally, there was an unintended activation of the electric parking brake. The contact stated that the battery seemed to be completely discharged. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V509000 (Parking Brake); however, the VIN was not included. The local dealer mobile service technician arrived at the residence and jumpstarted the vehicle, and the technician was able to disengage the electric parking brake. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the contact was informed that the battery was in good condition, and a system check was completed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but there was a language barrier, and no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 24,700.

This is regarding ford's known issue with their evaporator cited in TSB 22-2089. The evaporator caused a compressor to fail, which caused a power train failure notification in sync and on the phone app. The compressor is under warranty, but the evaporator is not, which causes a $3600 repair (parts and labor). According to the bulletin, the evaporator known issue is NOT considered a threat to life, even though it certainly is a threat to life to not have air conditioning in hotter states. The part is currently being replaced at our local dealership.

If the driver or front passenger exit the front doors using the mechanical inside release handles, the doors may remain locked when they are closed. This may result in an unexpected lock-out condition for the driver and front passenger without the ability to immediately re-enter the vehicle. Safety Risk An occupant who remains inside a locked vehicle and unable to use an inside door release handle may be unable to be rapidly retrieved by a passenger who has exited the vehicle. While driving multiple issues presented themselves. First was a drivers screen warning light. It said Drivetrain Malfunction-Power Reduced. I was on a 1000-mile road trip and wisas well into the trip. I kept driving without any operating issues with the exception of having steering wheel button controls malfunctions also. They included cruise control cancel button not working. The slow down button actually speeding up. This issue was actually repaired previously and now it is presenting itself again. Very unsafe when buttons work in reverse or don't work as intended. The Drivetrain Malfunction disappeared for the next few days but came back. There have been other wiring splicing repairs made at the dealer and these could be related. The wires were spliced because a wiring harness could not be obtained as it was backordered. Vehicle is just out of warranty and only has 23K miles. Critical wiring has corroded already.

Vehicle stalls out every 3-5 minutes after starting. Vehicle stops and will restart after start up but will only once again run for 3-5 minutes. Vehicle is a hazard on the road as well to the passengers. Local Ford Dealership and Ford Corp. both admit there is a recall (25S75) on my 2022 F-150 but are unaware of how to repair the vehicle. I am to wait until Ford develops a solution. Unwilling to provide a loaner vehicle while Ford comes up with a solution. They told me 3-6 months.

Stereo blasted static at full volume at decibels dangerously exceeding healthy limits while driving and would not turn off. Had to stop the vehicle and turn off in the middle of the road. Sound was so loud that my hearing was impacted and there is now ringing in both ears. If children were present, it would have been devastating. I was stuck in the middle of the road while traffic routed around my vehicle. If this happens to someone else, the noise/volume is so disorienting it could cause involuntary breaking or steering, resulting in a car accident. Please help, this is unacceptable.

2022 Ford F-150. The vehicle displays a warning message that reads, "Trailer Disconnected" continuously. It comes on as soon as the engine is started and comes back on as quickly as I can press the "OK" button to make it go away. I have taken the truck to the dealer for repairs four times so far and it still comes back. I have paid to have the trailer break control module reprogrammed as well as having a new one installed. The Ford web site lists this as a recall for the '22 F-150 but not for my specific VIN so it would appear the problem is larger than they know. Here is the link to Ford's description of the recall: [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Twice while driving my vehicle, the on board display screen will start to flicker and then show multiple lines going through it to where you can’t see anything on the screen. You have to turn the vehicle off and then turn it back on to reset it. It looks almost as if it were a flatscreen TV that had been punched.

Deafening sound emitted from speakers in vehicle while driving. Events are as follows: Volume stuck on 0 (minimum) changed source from wireless CarPlay Spotify IOS to FM. Popping started. No volume adjustment possible. Source change did not fix. On/off button did not fix. Key cycle with door open did not fix. Several attempts. Audio turns off, but with ignition immediately starts popping. Drove for at least 1 minute to safe spot while the popping/ static continued at max volume. Disconnected negative terminal on battery. The only way to fix the issue. Ears still ringing after two hours.

My F150, like many others that I've read about in the forums, has an issue with the internal cabin temperature. It blows way too hot and isn't adjustable as designed. Clearly, this in itself is not a safety concern and rather an inconvenience that Ford won't seem to figure out and fix. The issue is that when the heat is turned to High (which is meant to be around 85F), it blows out air at around 160F and this can easily burn someone who touches the vents - such as my young kids. Ford needs to resolve this safety (and inconvenient) concern.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150 Hybrid. The contact stated that after depressing the recirculate button to recycle the air in the vehicle due to allergies, the recirculate system was activated temporarily. The contact stated that allergens were entering the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure caused him to become distracted by allergies and to be distracted while reaching out to the recirculate button again, nearly causing the vehicle to veer off the road. The contact stated that the recirculating system only activated for up to 10 minutes when engaged. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was advised that there was no fix for the failure because the recirculating system was operating as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000. The VIN was not available.

I was driving around 35-40mph, slowing down, heading to a right hand turn lane. No vehicles in front of me. As I crossed over my lane into the turn lane my e-brake automatically came on and my pre collision braking light came on. No warning, nothing caused by me, and I have no clue how it happened. I had to physically pull the e-brake lever to release the brakes on a major road.

The daytime running light on my headlights is an LED strip that completely lost all use. Ford is having us replace the whole headlight unit for their manufacture issue. Ford refuses a fix and says a $1700 replacement headlight unit is the only way to get it fixed. It is their headlight components for the LED daytime running light.

I am constantly receiving error messages that pop up while driving telling me that there is a headlight system malfunction. I have also had adaptive cruise control lane. Keep assist and associated features.Uh pop up as error warnings. My headlights are cornering headlights while driving. They have failed by moving to the downward and inward position and stayed in that position, significantly reducing my visibility. My alarm constantly goes off for no reason. While driving, the speaker system makes a very loud noise. That almost sounds like a gunshot.Hitting the windshield, which is extremely frightening and will cause you to jerk in response. I have taken this back to the dealership five times trying to get this diagnosed, and it still cannot be fixed. I have asked that this be considered a lemon. Due to covid, my diagnostic time was pushed back beyond the one year mark, so I was not able to get the first diagnosis until after mao one year of owning the vehicle.

Ford has an outstanding Technical Service Bulletin (24-2039) that they have not notified me in a timely manner. If they had done so, it was have been replaced by Ford at their expense, either as part of bumper to bumper warranty or as a recall. Instead, the only way to find error is to have Service department run a system wide check. Ford dealer technician also feels its should be part of a recall. It's an expensive repair, $655 to replace the DC/AC inverter. This should be a recall item and notices should go to car owners.
