- What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? High voltage battery may fail internally - How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. - Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? MFG & NHTSA recall B9A/23V-787 22 Nov 2024 - Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No, There is no remedy from the mfg at this time of submission. Recommendations from the manufacturer is: 1. refrain from recharging the vehicle; 2. not to park inside of buildings or structures, or 3. near other vehicles until the vehicles has the final repair completed.--> It has been over 6 months since this issue has been known and there is not remedy. Not having access to the primary function of propulsion for such a long length of time is unacceptable and should prompt either a repair (which is not available, replacement vehicle; refund, or some other form of compensation. The mfg has already denied my claim for replacement/refund of the vehicle.

I have been waiting for a recall to be fixed and Jeep has no known date of delivery for the recall part BUT Jeep has new ones on the lot for sale. My entire vehicle is acting up, one day my reverse sensors malfunction then they don't, my defrost is not working, I can't remote start at all and I live in Buffalo so I need a warm vehicle, the Jeep 4xe will jump forward when coming to a stop, the heater isn't responding when I turn up dial, the death wobble has happened. And my dealer is worthless - no communication so I have to resort to this writing. I bought the 4xe Jan 4, 2021 (brand new) because the "electric" miles get me back and forth to work just fine and less money for gas. The Jeep itself was $63K, and I bought extended warranty. Fast forward to today. I have gone over 2 months w/o electric b/c no parts avail.

NHTSA Safety Issue ID: 23V787000 Open safety recall with NO FIX. Dealership will not give me a rental car. My car is at risk of starting on fire per the OPEN RECALL what has NO FIX. My family goes in this car and my son is secured in a child restraint seat. If it starts on fire I will not be able to save his life. I also cannot charge it and I bought the PHEV for fuel savings This recall has been open since November 2023 and it’s now 4 months later with NO FIX. My car has 20k miles still under the full factory bumper to bumper warranty and FCA is refusing to help me with a rental car and or car payments.

Was informed of this recall back in November of 2023. It is approximately 3 months later, and the dealership has heard nothing from Stellantis about how to repair this recall. I also have heard nothing from Stellantis. In the mean time, I cannot fully use the vehicle in the manner it was made, which is why I made the purchase.

RECALL ON BATTERY, NO REMEDY, CAN'T CHARGE MY JEEP, CAN'T PARK IN THE GARAGE, MPG IS DOWN TO 18 (TYPICALLY STAYS AROUND 24-25 IN WINTER) DEALERSHIPS ARE NOT HELPFUL, JEEP IS NOT COMMUNICATING AS THEY SHOULD. RECALL B9A. I ALSO BELIEVE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE EMISSIONS FROM THIS, MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS CAME ON TWICE SINCE I HAVE HAD THE JEEP (BOUGHT NEW IN 6/21) CAN'T CHARGE THE JEEP OR USE REMOTE START UNTIL RESET. DEALERSHIP SAID THERE WAS A READING STATING THERE WAS A LEAK IN THE GAS TANK, COULDN'T FIND THE LEAK SO RESET THE ENGINE LIGHT.

Recall (B9A) has been out since November of 2023. The recall states "An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage." As of today, no 'remedy' is available. In the mean time, can't charge the car. Driving the car would seem to be 'unwise' as the risk seems to be with the 'ignition on or off'. Can't park the car in my garage. Can't drive it to work as my employer doesn't want the liability should an issue arise. Been waiting patiently for a remedy - so far nothing but static.

- Auto stop / start "feature" failed at restarting the engine. - At an intersection, waiting to turn left and for a gap in oncoming traffic, the auto stop feature engaged. Upon an opportunity to proceed, the vehicle did not restart and left me stranded with traffic on coming. Luckily, the approaching vehicle was able to stop - else I would of been t-boned, hitting the passenger side with my wife in the seat. - The only warning was barely noticeable - just to "SHIFT TO PARK" - As a result, I will be purchasing an after market component to override this "feature" I will never be stranded or put in harms way for political reasons again.

NHTSA Recall 22V-767. This recall was issued in October 2022, and the manufacturer has failed to complete the recall on our vehicle. I have called and asked to have this recall completed and have told that there are no parts available, however, numerous online reports from owner groups across the country have said that the parts that ARE available are being used to fix vehicles on the lots that are in stop-sale first, instead of fixing customer's Jeeps. The recall is old and the problem is serious; it can cause a lot of damage when that part fails, and could result in an accident. My wife drives this Jeep daily, and I fear for her safety. FCA doesn't appear to be taking any of it seriously. What is NHTSA doing about this? There are a lot of us with the affected vehicles that are in this position.

I took this jeep to the dealer and they repaired it per my invoice. I am still receiving messages that the recall is still open from corporate jeep. The NHTSA also says the recall is still open. I called the dealer and they can’t help me or see no recall?

Part z96 high pressure fuel pump was recalled over a year ago with no parts or fix. I had been calling every 2-3 months to check and was informed the fix was not available. Over a month ago, the fuel pump failed and the car shut off while I was driving. Metal was sent through the entire fuel system. The whole fuel system needs replaced and the Jeep sits at the dealer with no parts available.

My diesel Jeep Wrangler has had an open safety recall for 12 months (Z96/NHTSA 22V-767), related to the high pressure fuel pump. Jeep/Stellantis continually fails to address this issue and pushes the estimated timeline for repairs months down the road. Every time I call or bring my vehicle in for service, I am alerted to this open safety recall, then told there is no fix available. I have tried to trade my Jeep in several times over the last 9 months, but dealers have been unwilling to take a vehicle on trade with an open safety recall and no fix available.

Check Engine Light and Excessive Engine Coolant Leak; Inspected by a manufacturer dealer and seller dealership; Initial dealer stated it wasn't drivable due to the amount of coolant leaking as part of the tubing was melted due to improperly being afixed and being to close to the exhaust; Yes. The same issue was reported 3 times before the issue I had in regards to the check engine light and a recall on the coolant leak was indicated to be fixed in March 2023 but continued to be an issue now; Warning light for the check engine appeared the same day I brought the vehicle in.

The Engine light came on 3 weeks ago and I took it to the auto shop to find out what is wrong. P1547 is the code that the auto mechanic told me was coming up on the scan. He said it could be the gas cap so I had that replaced, but the light came back on in 2 days. He said that this is the 2nd Jeep Wrangler he has seen with the same engine light and code and believes it has something to do with the fuel system. My Jeep is less than 3 years old and only has 22,556 miles on it. I have only driven it around town and on the highways. Have taken very good care of the vehicle and have replaced the oil as directed. This has to be a manufacturers error and something that is quite concerning if it has to do with the fuel system. Please advise on how to proceed. I will be reaching out to Jeep corporate office as well to let them know about this issue and to see which service center they would like me to take the vehicle to.
