The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the daughter had reported that while in a parking lot, the brakes unintendedly engaged, and then the vehicle suddenly accelerated. The driver immediately applied the brakes to stop the vehicle. The contact was able to duplicate the failure while attempting to park the vehicle. The messages "Power Train Malfunction" and "Reduced Power" were displayed, the power train warning light illuminated, and the parking brake warning light flashed continuously. The vehicle was being towed to the dealer. The vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 108,236.

I purchased the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport in August of 2025. There were issues after about a week with all kinds of messages of components not working cycling through constantly on the display. The electric brake would engage on its own while parked and had to be shut off before I could go forwards after starting the vehicle. I took it to the dealership where I bought it and after a few days they said it was a batter issue and replaced it at no cost to me. It worked okay for a short time and then I had the same issues and now added to those were it wouldn't start for at least 15 minutes and several tries. Cruise Control could not be used and the turn signals would not work while all of the messages were displaying. The windshield wipers would only work at the highest setting and the rear wipers would not work at all. I took it to another Ford Dealership and they said it was an electrical wiring issue that they found. The High Speed Cam wiring is what they found a break in and they fixed it and cleared the codes. I paid 450 for this repair. Just 4 days later the issues have returned. Messages about components not working, this time the right turn signal would not shut off. I am concerned about the safety issues while driving with my turn signal stuck on. I called the same Ford dealership and they can get it in on Friday so that I can have a loaner car. I just don't feel safe driving the Bronco. I don't have the money to loose on trying to trade it in with these issue. Help!!!!

Car suddenly and dangerously braked on highway with no other vehicles around. Afterwards the tool and check engine lights came on. All advance trac systems failed. Dealership replaced the broken bolts and rear axle. In review it appears recall 21s04 should apply. Site shows 2021 broncos from Hermosillo plant apply. Rep stated building date range 7/22-11/24. How can this apply to a 2021 ford recall?

The brakes make a loud and terrible squeeking noise (moan noise) when driving the vehicle in reverse and braking. There is something terribly wrong and may initiate a problem at a later date when driving forward. Ford is aware of the problem and issued TSB22-2326 in August 2022, revised to 23-2041 in February 2023, revised to 23-2308 in October 2023 and revised again to 25-2143 in April 2025. THEY HAVE SUCCESSFULLY DELAYED THE RECALL FOR THREE YEARS NOW THAT ALL 2021 BRONCO SPORTS ARE OUT OF WARRANTY. This is rediculous and dangerous.

Since the purchase of the Bronco Sport in 2021, I have intermittently taken it in for required service. However, there have been times when I have had to take it in for hearing noise coming from when I make turns, and it sounded like my break pads were making the sound of wear. A recent report did address the break pad concern, and they were replaced. Intuitively something told me to check my fluid levels and the engine air filter, along with the cabin air filter. They both needed replacing, which I did on my own. The mechanic who put on my break asked me questions about the Bronco, I explained to him that I was having issues with take off, and have had to take it in for recalls since make the purchase. He asked me to open the hood. What he found was oil leaking around was oil leaking around my turbo. I was shocked. Because it had not been long since it was serviced. I was told to not drive it too far because there were reports of some Broncos catching on fire. When I would take it in to Town AND Country Ford, where it was purchased, they would tell me that they could not find anything wrong repeatedly, supposedly one of the recalls was fixed. Yet, I still hear the noise when I make turns. Another Ford dealership around the corner from where I live and I decided to take it there to see if I could get different results. No help. They have changed my oil I hope. Then there is Bates Ford in Lebanon, Tennessee. I have taken it there for oil change and informed them of issues. This is the last dealership who inspected the Bronco. They did not tell me about the oil leak. I drive 10 miles to work weekly. 100 miles every other month to visit elderly relatives. So, I have not put too much wear and tear on the Bronco and do not drive it hard. Please, If you are able to help in this area, it is much appreciated. I have 54,000 miles on it

While driving vehicle will flash place hands on wheel while hands are on the wheel. It will then turn off sound system and cut off adaptive features until I shake my steering wheel irrationally to the left and right. It will also jerk the vehicle into other lanes to try and correct to stay in lane, while I'm inside of the lines issuing the adaptive driving features. If there is a break in the lines, ie: turning lane or intersection the adaptive wants to jerk course into other lanes. While driving down the expressway, if a car on either side brakes around me the collision control takes over and slams on the brakes. Most of the limits near me are 70!! Going 70 and slamming down to 50 before i can regain control has almost gotten me killed several times here in Florida!! I've informed dealership, but they claim the sensors are not throwing codes. This also has been happening since purchasing this vehicle.

Around 08/22 backup camera failed and now there is a dent in the tailgate area. I have documentation from the dealership, finally that the backup camera was not working properly. On about May 23, 2023, I stopped at a local grocery store for just a few items. When I came back out my car would not even attempt to turn over (approx. 24,000 miles). Had to wait three hours for roadside assistance to use a jump box to get it started (would not jump-start like a normal vehicle). The next morning it was dead again, and I had to call an Uber to get my child to school, not acceptable. I took it to the dealership again, and after three days they replaced the battery.....I had not even owned the vehicle for two years, it had 6 miles on it when I bought it, and it needs a new battery? Now it is 09/22/23, the dealership has had my car since the morning of 09/13/23 and I still don't have it back. There are issues with the safety features (lane departure doesn't work, front crash assist goes off randomly, backup camera STILL doesn't work half of the time, keep hands on steering wheel alert when both hands are on steering wheel, key not detected alert after I've been driving and the key is with me, stereo still playing when I disconnect the phone and exit out of all music apps on phone it just still plays music even music that I have never listened to). There is more but I cannot remember it all at the moment, and I don't have all of my records because they are with my car that I have not had in my possession in quite a while. DON'T BUY A BRONCO! BUY A JEEP!!!! That is what I have learned from this, my first and only Ford and I can't wait to go back to Mopar products. I have truly bought a lemon!

3 systems go out suddenly while driving and control becomes unstable. Return to dealer 2 times to have it "recalibrated" and it went back out within 3 days intermittently working and mostly failing. Dealer said it was do to calibration with the camera and 360 technology needing to be re-calibrated. The vehicle has never been in an accident.

Charging System The vehicle safety systems and monitoring systems shut down due to battery charging system failures. Problem confirmed by Ford engineers. And Ford service where the vehicle is still sitting. Vehicle has been at dealership 90% since 8/2022. They and Ford engineers do not know what’s wrong or why it will not keep a charge. Battery replaced, alternator and more but it still is unsafe to drive. Have too many warnings to count. And we have taken it to dealer for repair but nothing fixes it. And even the Ford engineers do not understand why it fails.

Both interior liftgate lights inoperative. However, the "liftgate ajar light", and came on without warning as I was driving. I had not opened the litigate. Radio system skips & pops. fails to load tor loads slowly. Brakes failed to fully engage quickly on a slow turn, causing a total loss accident. Vehicle has 645 miles on it. I love my Bronco Sport. But..is it safe to drive if I order a new one? Can there be a cross check done by VIN to ensure I'm not getting one with the same problem? Specifically, the brakes? The brake issue worries me Please advise. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, [XXX]. Vehicle purchased at Pundmann Ford, Saint Charles. THE PRE COLLISION ASSIST / WARNING IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. SOMEONE WAS CUT INTO MY LANE IN FRONT OF ME AND I WAS ALMOST HIT HIM SO I NEED TO HIT THE BRAKE IN THE LAST SECOND BUT NO WARNING SHOWED UP AT ALL. AFTER THAT I TRIED TO TEST IF THE PRE COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM IS WORKING OR NOT SO I TRIED TO FORCE THEM SUCH AS I DROVE INTO LIKE ALMOST HIT TO ANOTHER OBJECT/ CAR WITHOUT HITTING BRAKE BUT I NEVER GET OR SEE ANY WARNING ON THE SCREEN.I EVEN SETTING THE SENSITIVITY ON HIGH! BUT IT NEVER WORKED AT ALL. I USED TO DROVE THE CAR THAT HAS THE PRE COLLISION SYSTEM SO I KNOW HOW IT'S WORK. SO I'M SURE MY CAR HAS A PROBLEM
