The heating element on the driver’s seat burned a hole in my seat through my sweater while I was driving. Burning smell was not sure where it was coming from. I almost caused an accident trying to maneuver over off the exit to see that my seat warmer is what was causing the Burning smell almost burned me.

The rear seat belts do not retract back nor do they lock in place. You either have to pull and play with them to get them to work properly or they will not work at all!

Right auxiliary radiator leaks due to the placement and manufacturing of materials used. This can cause car to overheat without warning till it's too late. The coolant odometer just goes high without gradual warning. I looked up possible coolant leaks and dozens of people had the exact same issue. I'm trying to figure out why they're hasn't been a recall on this exact issue when this is jaguars biggest issue. Seems like a ticking time bomb for customers and money grab from Jaguar.

1. ENTIRE engine. And yes (it’s been sitting since May 2024 at Scottsdale AZ JLR) 2. The day after I filled coolant for a 'low coolant' check engine light, my car smoked going uphill and nearly caught fire. I pulled over just in time, then had to walk 2 miles at night, in 30°F weather, without cell service, in the desert. This is a known issue affecting thousands of similar cars, with a Facebook group of nearly 19,000 members reporting the same risks—cars smoking or blowing up without warning, even when serviced per JLR’s recommendations. JLR is refusing to honor warranties, and some incidents have resulted in complete vehicle fires. My attorney advised me to report this and share the FB group for reference: [XXX] 3. Both have confirmed the engine is done and needs an entire replacement. 4. By JLR of Scottsdale yes. Also an independent mechanic in Sedona. Also by my attorney’s expert mechanic who had the oil sent to a lab and when he read the report stated, “the primary cause of engine failure most likely is blown head gasket. That caused coolant to get mixed into the oil, thereby destroying the engine.” 5. NO…which is what is MOST concerning. Just ‘low coolant’ as I mentioned above, which I added. No other check engine light has EVER ignited on the vehicle, which is concerning to me, indicating that no warning lights ever came on which would have indicated to me something needed servicing before the entire engine just blew up. Battery is drained every time I get an emissions inspection. Next day I have to get it charged and take it the dealer for a "software hard-rest." Supposed to fix problem but every year I have the same issue. Never a SW fix available.

You could not read anything on my dash. It was all rainbow colors. I couldn’t tell how much gas I had or if my car was running hot. Basically everything on the dash that tells you how your car is running. We have the carefirst extended warranty and they would not cover it. It cost me out of pocket 2000 dollars to fix. I do have a picture but unfortunately I couldn’t send it

Jul 8, 2023Steering

I drove through about 12 inch water during a flash flood rain down pour. After driving about 200 feet, my steering failed. The instrument panel displayed, power steering assistance reduced. I could not turn the the steering wheel to get in the parking lot. I Google to see what the problem was and there are a lot of people complaining with the same problem. I had towed to the shop and the extended warranty I purchased said it was preexisting problem. I had just purchased the vehicle approximately 3 months prior and had never had this problem. It only messed up after running the water and that is what other owners stated. My comprehensive insurance would not cover neither. Jaquar want to charge me $6700.00 for repair, which I believe should be cover under my warranty, insurance or Jaquar itself. I contact Jaquar headquarters but having received a response.Thank you

Oct 3, 2021Backup camera & sensorsCrash

Park assist was engaged. The prompt was to pull forward more. Then the park assist prompted to take hands off the steering wheel. The park assist maneuvered backward into parallel parking. Once it made the turn backing in, it sped up backward with no warnings on the camera or auditory alarms, and hit the vehicle parked behind our vehicle. My vehicle is damaged. The other vehicle is not. This is a serious problem. Not only did my vehicle sustain damage, but a person could have been there and it could have caused damage to the other vehicle. This park assist had the driver take the hands off the wheel, gave zero warnings, no visual or auditory, increased rear speed, and hit the vehicle. I want the event data recorder to be reviewed and for my car's fault to be remedied and my vehicle to be repaired.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2020 Jaguar F-pace verdict →
