The contact owns a 2019 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, another vehicle cut her off. The contact slammed on the brake pedal however, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact regained control of the vehicle and turned off and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000. The VIN was not available.
