The contact owns a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, various warning lights, including the check engine, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), oil, and other warning lights, were intermittently illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for a diagnostic test; however, no faults were found with the vehicle. The contact stated that the sunroof failed to completely close; because of the failure, water was leaking inside the vehicle during inclement weather. In addition, the air bag warning light had also become illuminated. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was promised a call back. The failure mileage was 45,695.

The contact owns a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA250. The contact stated that the rear passenger’s side of the sunroof had raised up, causing the sunroof to fail to close properly. The vehicle had been taken to a certified mechanic who informed the contact that the sunroof needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The contact stated the dealer had been contacted and an upcoming appointment with the dealer was scheduled. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
