The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the front driver’s side seat belt had detached from the floor of the vehicle making the seat belt unusable and unable to secure the driver. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer was contacted regarding the failure and indicated that the seat belt assembly needed to be replaced. The failure was not yet repaired. The manufacture was not yet notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 103,000.
