The latch on the driver side door stuck in the open position and the door latch would not function. The door remained unlatched and unsecured. All of the door latches were replaced at the dealer on 28 Dec 2020 per recall R89978. The problem hasn't been confirmed by the dealer yet but is scheduled. The car was parked at the time so no indication of a problem until I sat in the drivers seat and the door remained ajar with the handle stuck in the open position.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2015 Volvo V60 Cc Mhev verdict →
