TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM FRACTURED, WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH. AS A RESULT, THE CONTROL SENSOR FRACTURED AS WELL. THE CONTACT MANAGED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AT LOW SPEED TO HIS RESIDENCE WHERE HE DISABLED THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ( MY AUTO IMPORT CENTER 1860 E STERNBERG RD, MUSKEGON, MI 49444 (231) 799-2886) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE RETAINING SPRING FRACTURED (BRAKES SYSTEM ) AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 54,000.

THIS IS A DANGER IF CHILD IS IN THE TRUCK AND PARENT GET OUT TO OPEN GATE OR ANYOTHER REASON AND CLOSES DOOR. FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED AT HOME. SECOND TIME I WAS 40 MINUTES FROM ANY TOWN IN THE COUNTRY. CELL PHONE LOCKED IN TRUCK AS IT WAS RUNNING, WAITED ALMOST ONE HOUR FOR PASSING VEHICLE TO CALL AAA FOR LOCKSMITH. I WAITED ANOTHER HOUR FOR TOWTRUCK TO UNLOCK MY TRUCK.
