Wiring harness 3C8-971-182-J yielded multiple wire breaks with exposed copper ends near harness couplers. Wiring is for rear lights and camera mounted on trunk hood. Some rear lights failed to light. Picture is available. Have noticed multiple issues of same on internet with identical breakage.

VEHICLE TRUNK LIGHT INDICATOR SHOWS THAT VEHICLE TRUNK IS OPEN. INTERMITTENTLY TURNS OFF THEN COMES BACK ON. TRUNK INTERIOR LIGHT STAYS ON. VOLKSWAGEN SHOULD PERFORM AN ACTION AND REMEDY FOR THE VW CC OWNERS AFFECTED BY THIS PROBLEM. *TR
