The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that multiple issues were experienced with the vehicle while driving, including the following: the transmission has odd noises, is not changing gears properly, and emits a burning smell; the vehicle randomly overheats; the brake fluid bubbles when the vehicle is turned on; the AC compressor has failed three times; and the serpentine belt and power steering fluid randomly fail. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where a pressure test was performed indicating issues with the Continuously Variable Transmission, engine, and brakes. Only the AC compressor was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 125,600.

The vehicle was steered to side of the road and restarted. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
