TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2014 HONDA CIVIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 50 MPH, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT FLAMES EMITTED FROM THE DASHBOARD AND UPON EXITING, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED ARM AND SHOULDER INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE AND A FIRE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,000.
