The car crashed into the back of the truck in front of it. The crash caused the airbag to go off and either the airbag itself or the area that covers the steering wheel cut my wife’s jaw/throat. She was luck it did not cut her artery or wind pipe she was able to be transported to the hospital and survived.

I was approaching a green light, and engaged the brakes to slow down. As I approached the light reaching approximate 10MPH. The car shuddered, and the alternator must have glitched again.The wheel cranked itself back and forth, causing the car to spin and turn into oncoming traffic. This issue has been recalled for this vehicle but not this VIN. I have notified 3 Honda repair shops of this issue, and have been turned away. The problem is with the electromagnet in the electric steering column. It is well documented, and I have video of several instances of thi issue occurring. Additional witnesses of the problem are available. And the incident itself resulting in property damage and bodily harm. Honda was made aware of this problem on multiple occasions, and did nothing to remedy the problem.

While I was driving, a truck hit me from behind causing a 5 car accident. My car was unable to be driven from the scene. The radiator and front collision bar are very bent in, however my airbags did not deploy. The truck was going 60 mph when it hit me hard enough to cause another 3 cars to have damage. This is a potential issue for others and currently I have very bad neck and head pain from the accident. My car had a warning screen saying “check airbag system” after the accident.

I was involved in a multi vehicle crash on the highway at a high rate of speed, approximately 50mph. I was hit from behind and hit the car in front of me totaling my car. My airbags did not deploy and I hit the steering wheel upon impact and suffered 4 compression fractures in my T1-T4 vertebrae. The doctor stated that if my airbags would have deployed I would not have suffered the neck fractures that I did.

The contact owned a 2014 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passenger's side front tire drove over a pothole, causing the driver's side front air bag to deploy. The driver's side air bag struck her on the right arm. The contact slammed on the brake pedal and the vehicle drove off-road, crashing into an embankment that damaged the front end of the vehicle. The contact received medical attention on the scene for cuts and bruises to her right arm. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000. The VIN was unavailable.

I had rear brake driver side light change on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at the Hondas dealer Downtown Los Angeles. On Wednesday November 17, 2021 the 3rd rear brake light started a fire in my truck. The light bult overheated melted the cover, burned the fuse and my dress and suit in the trunk started to burn. It smelled horrible. I immediately called the dealer and Honda. The dealer made a diagnosis that the fuse burned but they cannot explain why or if it will happen again if it gets replaced. I am paying $496.62 to the dealer for repair but they cannot determine what cause it? I am very upset because my son is 2 years old and he seats in the rear. I am a single mother and I was dropping him to school when this happened. I don't imagine being exposes to fire or any safety hazard. The driver rear breake light was previously replaced on February of 2021. I found it strange and asked the dealer why is it being replaced too many time and just one side but they cannot explain why. I want an investigation or some kind of explanation why my vehicle catch fire. I dont know if Honda is manufacturing vehicles with faulty electric wire in the trunk causing fires and damages. I want to prevent future deaths. It was a very scary, stressful situation, traumatic experience. My dress has a hole and my suit inside the truck were damage expenses adding to $1,512.00.Please help me investigate this matter. Thank you.

Started my car in neutral with the parking brake engaged. The car took off by itself up a curb over a hill and struck another vehicle. I managed to get back in the vehicle and applied the brakes but the brakes did not respond. And my car was serviced at Freeway Honda in Santa Ana three days prior to the accident. I reported the problem with the brakes, they did a brake service, but they did not properly diagnose the issue and fix it. They told me they couldn’t find any problems and release the car back to me. Three days later it was in an accident and the brakes failed. Now freeway Honda has stated that they finally diagnosed the issue with the brakes, but they are refusing to fix it free of charge even though they have been deemed liable for the accident. My rear shocks were also damaged due to the impact of going up the curb and State Farm is investigating that to see if they will be paying for the repair and replacement of the shocks.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I WOULD LIKE TO REPORT A SAFETY ISSUE WITH A VEHICLE. I AM NOT THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE THAT I AM REPORTING, BUT I WAS NEGATIVELY AFFECTED BY A FIRE THAT THE VEHICLE CAUSED. MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN A PUBLIC PARKING GARAGE ON THE 1ST FLOOR. SEVERAL HOURS AFTER PARKING MY CAR, A BMW X5 PARKED NEXT TO MY VEHICLE. THE OWNER OF THE BMW LEFT THEIR VEHICLE AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. HOWEVER, WHILE THE OWNER WAS AWAY FROM THE CAR, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE SPREAD TO 4 OTHER VEHICLES INCLUDING MY VEHICLE ' THE TWO VEHICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR AND TWO VEHICLES ON THE 2ND FLOOR OF THE PARKING GARAGE. MY VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AS A RESULT OF THIS FIRE. THE FIRE ENGULFED THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY VEHICLE AND COMPLETELY DAMAGED THE INTERIOR. WITH ALL THE DAMAGES THAT MY CAR SUSTAINED, IT IS NOT DRIVEABLE NOR IS IT REPAIRABLE. MY INSURANCE HAS A BETTER RECORD OF THE COMPLETE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE. UPON, EXPLORING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND THAT THIS SPECIFIC BMW WAS LISTED AS AN AFFECTED VEHICLE FOR RECALL. NHTSA ISSUED SEVERAL RECALLS FOR PARTS OF THE VEHICLE THAT COULD CATCH FIRE EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN OPERATION. FOR EXAMPLE: REPORT RECEIPT DATE: 10-30-2017 NHTSA CAMPAIGN: 17V683000 MANUFACTURER: BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC CONSEQUENCE: AN ELECTRICAL SHORT CAN CAUSE THE PARTS WITHIN THE PCV VALVE TO MELT, INCREASING THE RISK OF A FIRE, EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS NOT IN USE. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AND BMW SHOULD BE MORE ATTENTIVE AND RESPONSIBLE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. AS A RESULT OF THIS, I HAVE LOST MY CAR AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECOUP THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE VEHICLE. THE FRONT DOOR WAS OBVIOUSLY OPEN AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN REVERSING! THE FRONT DOOR KNOCKED ME DOWN SINCE I WAS SO STARTLED NOTHING HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME LIKE THAT BEFORE. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR OVER 40 YEARS.
