State Farm is investigating the accident to see what, if anything, malfunctioned in my braking system. I ran a red light but when I pressed the brake upon approach of the red light my brakes didn't catch and so when I pressed them, I kept going at the same speed. I was going between 30 and 40 miles per hour I believe. Three cars were involved. I have a sore neck, chest, and burn marks in my neck region. I suspect my truck will be totalled. We performed routine maintenance on the vehicle. It had a little over 100K miles on it at the time of this wreck. There is not a recall on braking for 2014 models, but I see there is one for 2015.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2014 GMC Yukon Denali Xl 1500 verdict →
