In addition, the contact stated that on February 02, 2026, the vehicle was serviced for an unknown recall repair in which the driver's side air bag was replaced. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000.

WE HAD 2 GLASS BOWLS ON THE BACK SEAT BEHIND THE DRIVER THAT DIDN'T EVEN MOVE, FURTHER SUBSTANTIATING THE LACK OF IMPACT. GM HAS HAD A HISTORY OF ISSUES WITH AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT IN THEIR VEHICLES AND WE FEEL THIS IS AN INCIDENT OF A FAULTY DEPLOYMENT.
