TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 RANGE ROVER EVOQUE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND FAILED TO RESPOND. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. TWO MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CRASH, THE BRAKES FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND NOTICED FLUID COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKE FLUID HOSE WAS DAMAGED AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,600.
