The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated while driving at 40-50 MPH, the vehicle hesitated as it stalled. The contact stated that several warning lights illuminated such as the brake, air bags, and charging system warning lights. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road, where she jumped started the battery with some assistance, and the vehicle restarted. The contact drove the vehicle to the residence. The contact stated that she attempted to start the vehicle again however, the vehicle failed to start as several warning lights were illuminated and a burning odor was detected in the cabin of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 146,590.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHO REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT AFTER THE REPAIRS THE FRONT PASSENGER POWER WINDOW FAILED. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MASTER SWITCH. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE FRONT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE HVAC CONTROL HEAD WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
