MAJOR SUDDEN ENGINE FAILURE IN CAUSING POTENTIAL DANGER IN HEAVY, FAST TRAFFIC THIS YEAR. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITION WITHOUT CONTROL. CAR TOWED TO DEALER WITH AMBER ENGINE WARNING LIGHT. DEALER CLAIMED TIMING CHAIN FAILURE CAUSED ENGINE TO BREAK APART REQUIRING REPLACEMENT AT SUBSTANTIAL COST OUT OF WARRANTY PERIOD. NO SUPPORT FROM MANUFACTURER OR DEALER FOR KNOWN DEFECT.
