TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 LEXUS CT 200H. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 2 MPH, THE VEHICLE TRAVELED OVER A CURB AND THE KNUCKLE OF THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BECAME FRACTURED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE METAL DID NOT APPEAR TO BE HEAT TREATED PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND HE WAS STILL AWAITING A FINAL DECISION ON WHETHER IT WAS A DEFECT OR NOT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD FURTHER INVESTIGATE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,942.
