AFTER DRIVING FOR AN HOUR OR SO THE ENGINE WILL NOT RESPOND TO ACCELERATOR NO RPM REV. AFTER A SHORT TIME THE ENGINE LUNGES AND WORKS FINE. HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES. LAST TIME WAS DRIVING MOTORHOME OVER RAILROAD TRACKS WHEN IT WOULD NOT RESPOND. TAKEN TO FORD DEALERSHIP. THE REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND ADDED SOFT UPDATED SOFTWARE PROBLEM CONTINUES. BOUGHT BRAND NEW 2011 TIFFIN MOTORHOME WITH FORD V10 6. 8 LITER HAPPENS WHEN VEHICLE GETS INTO STOP AND GO TRAFFIC BUT NEVER JUST DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT NORMAL SPEED.

How to use these: a complaint is one owner’s report, filed voluntarily and published unverified. Patterns matter more than any single story. If several owners describe the same failure at similar mileage, put that system at the top of your pre-purchase inspection list. Back to the full 2011 Ford Stripped Chassis verdict →
