The contact leased a 2025 RAM 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed to park the vehicle inside the residence's garage, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated, crashed through the rear wall of the garage, and into a snowbank, where the vehicle came to a stop. No warning light was illuminated. The garage rear wall and lawn care equipment were damaged. No injury was sustained. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was repaired. The contact stated that while the technician was conducting a post-repair test-drive, the failure reoccurred when there was a sudden acceleration. The technician was able to stop the vehicle. The contact was advised to tow the vehicle to the dealer for further inspection. The dealer was made aware of the failure and requested a manufacturer engineer inspection. The engineer inspected the vehicle at the same independent mechanic. The contact was informed that the vehicle had passed the inspection, and there was no electrical issue. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 5,200.

The vehicle only stopped because it ran off the road hitting a pothole there was total loss of power. towed to the dealer Ram claims it was a burnt fuse box and there is still electrical issues with the truck its not fixed truck has approximately 11,000 miles still under factory warranty with no aftermarket products installed to the electrical system.

The contact stated that while driving downhill in the mountains at approximately 50 MPH and pulling a 2024 Ember 190MSL Overland RV, the brake pedal was depressed, and the vehicle decelerated as intended; however, the trailer brakes failed to engage, causing the RV to roll sideways and to crash into the rear of the vehicle. The RV's weight distribution was fractured, causing the front end of the vehicle to spin against the guard rail and to face the opposite direction. The contact shifted to Park(P). The RV's weight distribution pinned the muffler, and the bed panel of the vehicle was damaged during the crash. Additionally, the vehicle sustained front-end damage. The check engine warning light was illuminated after the crash. The air bags did not deploy. The were no reported injuries. The vehicle was towed to an autobody repair shop, where it was being repaired. The RV was towed and totaled. The insurance company accident reconstruction specialist confirmed that the accident had occurred due to trailer brakes failure. The contact learned about NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V059000(Exterior Lighting, Electrical System) in the news and confirmed that the VIN was included. The contact related the failure to the recall. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 3,290.

As I was driving at 55mph on the hwy I started smelling gas. I thought it was the car in front of me so I was just going to pass him, but quickly realized I did not have the power to pass another car. So I pulled over on the highway and got out of my truck and noticed flames dripping from the center of the vehicle by looking at the front driver wheel area. I tried to put out with a fire extinguisher that a bystander had given me, but it was just too late in the truck was engulfed in flames.

The insurance company found that the truck's airbag system was defective and required replacement of the faulty impact sensors. There were no warning lamps prior to the incident.

Vehicle was brought to RAM dealer and they recommended replacing all airbag components including ORC. The ORC did not have stored collision data. Attempted to open case with RAM/stellantis but they closed the case without investigating. THIS IS THE SECOND DEPLOYMENT WITHOUT A COLLISION.

The emergency brake malfunctioned transmission in park malfunctioned yes its available for inspection i was almost ran over by the truck or pinned between truck door and hand rail. I have not had vehicle inspection done yet dealer had been notified and awaiting there response. When i re entered the vehicle dash displayed warning emergency brake disengaged placed vehicle into drive to move forward and then dash displayed emergency brake engaged and placed vehicle into park automatically which made it nearly impossible to move. Prior to this event truck was parked in my driveway the night before then the following morning truck was in the grass it had rolled there. When connected to any trailer the dash displays check trailer connection and the running lights on passenger sides of the trailers are off and or going dim and bright.

Brand new vehicle. From day one pulls to the right. Flimsy steering. I always find myself having to drive below speed limit. Unsafe at speed limit especially on country roads. Also ends up being unsafe as I have to drive slower. Multiple other drivers confirmed this issue in my vehicle. Daily drive female, no offroad use or work use, no accidents. 1500 miles now on the odo. Problem from day one. Intend to take to dealer soon but wanted to make report especially there are other users complaints online and it is a serious matter. Several times almost lost control. Appears to be releated to electronic steering behavior.
